Jacy Jayne Snatches WWE NXT Women’s Title from Stephanie Vaquer After Rollercoaster Main Event

NXT has a new Women’s Champion and it was quite a toxic surprise.

The May 27 episode of WWE NXT featured continued fallout from WWE Battleground. One of the key matches on the card was an NXT Women’s Championship match, as Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against Jacy Jayne.

Vaquer, who was coming off a successful title defense at Battleground against Jordynne Grace, faced a challenge from Jayne. This match went down after the show went into its second hour.

This match was the main event of the night. Naturally, fans were more than ready to see it go down. Before the match, they showed Vaquer walking through a gauntlet of possible future challengers, all of whom would be more than happy to get a title shot.

They didn’t wait at all to get this match started. There was no time for a big match feel ring introduction, either. Jacy Jayne got the advantage early on, and she tried her best to wear the champion down.

Dalys and Chik Tormenta showed up at ringside, but Lola Vice ran down to help her out. Those four will meet at Worlds Collide.

The match continued through a commercial break, and Jacy Jayne maintained control of the match over Stephanie Vaquer. Then the champion was able to come back as she worked her way close to an SVB.

Fallon Henley eventually showed up at ringside, and that gave Vaquer someone else to jump on with a dive to the outside. Although Jacy Jayne was able to come back with some solid offense, Vaquer was able to get her back in the ring, where she hit the Devil’s Kiss, but then Fallon Henley was able to nail a kick on Vaquer. Then Jacy Jayne was able to get the pinfall to win the title.

We will have to see who steps up to face the new NXT Women’s Champion next. At this point, you never know what will happen next for the NXT brand.

Fans had a few good reasons to watch the May 27 episode of WWE NXT. That also included seeing a possible future great make his in-ring debut.

Jasper Troy won the first season of WWE LFG. It didn’t take him very long at all to make a statement.

During this week’s episode of NXT, Dante Chin received the honor of being Jasper Troy’s first opponent. Troy received a nice introduction, complete with smoke and heavy music. Of course, Jasper had his signature chains around his neck.

Jasper Troy was very rough with his opponent, as Dante Chin eventually ended up at ringside, where the abuse continued. Once they got in the ring, Jasper’s abuse didn’t stop. Although Dante Chin tried to take the big man down, Troy didn’t leave his feet until he ate a DDT and a big kick to the jaw.

Then Jasper Troy followed through with a Black Hole Slam for the win. That was quite an impressive win for the newcomer. This was followed by Oba Femi coming out to cut a promo on him.

Jasper Troy has a ton of tools to become a top Superstar in WWE. That is why he received such trust from the coaches on LFG, which led to his NXT contract. Only time will tell what he does with this momentum.

Trick Williams' First Challenger For TNA World Title Steps Up During 5/27 WWE NXT

The May 27 episode of WWE NXT included a lot of fallout after WWE Battleground. That include Trick Williams winning the TNA World Title in the main event.

This week on NXT, Trick Williams showed up as TNA World Champion. This is a historic moment as the NXT Superstar raised the TNA World Title up high.

Trick Williams made his way out at the end of the show’s first hour this week. He was very full of himself, to say the least. He called himself Hollywood Trick, and declared that he is the sexiest Superstar alive.

Williams called out fans for cheering for him, because they were the same ones who were waving their hands during Joe Hendry’s entrance. They chanted “Average Joe” at Williams, as he said that he is going to TNA Wrestling with the title. Williams said he’s turning his back on fans, because he remembers how they sang along with Joe Hendry. Instead, he’s going to TNA Wrestling to make some changes, starting with TNA, as he is going to call it Trick N A.

At that point, Mike Santana came out to confront Williams. Santana said that Trick is not his champion, and he made a big mistake by trash talking TNA Wrestling. He wasn’t about to sit back and let him do that. Trick then brought up how Santana has never been TNA World Champion, but Santana said that Williams is a pretend fighter, rapper, and he’s a pretend champion.

At that point, Santino Marella showed up on the screen. As TNA Director of Authority, he announced that Trick will defend the TNA World Title against Mike Santana on NXT next week.

Now, Santana will get a shot at Trick Williams for the TNA World Title. This should be a huge match for Santana, and a great opportunity for him to rise to the top of TNA Wrestling in a huge way.

We will have to see what is next for Trick Williams as TNA World Champion. At this rate, we know that he has no problem shocking fans with what he does next.

Ethan Page Wins North American Title During 5/27 WWE NXT

NXT has a new North American Champion.

The May 27 episode of WWE NXT was quite an episode. The whole thing also kicked off with an exciting title match.

Ricky Saints put his NXT North American Title on the line against Ethan Page this week. That was quite a match, and Page had a lot to prove as he wanted to become a champion in NXT once again.

This match got started in a hurry, and they had additional security surrounding the ring, just in case things got crazy. The two started brawling from the beginning, so there was no time for a big match feel ring introduction from Mike Rome.

Ava came down and made it clear that they must see a winner in this match. That didn’t make it a No DQ match, but the referee had discretion in a big way.

The match went through a commercial break, and the two ended up fighting over the announce table. The referee told them to get in the ring, but then Ethan Page landed an RKO on a steel chair at ringside to collapse Ricky’s throat.

Although Ethan Page had the advantage, Ricky Saints did not back down at all. He fought back as fans rallied behind him. The two traded shots to the head and then Ricky ate a superkick, but then he reversed a move from Page into a DDT. Then Ricky rallied a bit as he fought to get the pinfall, but it didn’t work.

Ethan Page landed another shot to Ricky Saints’ throat, but Ricky kicked out. Then Page snapped the top rope to nail Ricky Saints. This was followed by Page nailing his finisher to win the match and the North American Championship.

We will have to see what Ethan Page does next. This was a hard-fought and brutal win, and now he is North American Champion when everything is said and done.

The May 26 episode of WWE RAW went down at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This was a big night that continued the build toward Money in the Bank, and it also closed out WWE’s big string of Tampa shows.

During the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, we saw Solo Sikoa clinch the first spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank match. LA Knight also qualified for the Money in the Bank match during May 23 SmackDown. They need a few more participants, and qualifying matches went down this week on RAW.

One qualifying match for the Money in the Bank match saw Sami Zayn vs. The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins. This match was the main event of the night tonight. The first match saw Penta win to earn a spot in the Money in the Bank match.

This was a hard-fought match for everyone involved, and fans were very much behind Sami Zayn. Chants of “Sami Uso” rung out as the competitors battled through a commercial break.

Zayn nailed a Superplex on Balor, which was followed by a splash on Finn from Seth Rollins. Then they cut to commercial break once more while the match carried on. When we came back, Rollins and Balor were working together to take on Zayn, but he fought both of them off.

The match carried on, and Seth Rollins kicked out after a Blue Thunder Bomb, because everyone kicks out of the Blue Thunder Bomb. Later on, Bron Breakker pulled Sami off Rollins to break up a pinfall. Jey Uso then ran down to fight them off, but Breakker broke him in two with a massive spear. Then Bronson Reed crushed Sami as Dominik Mysterio gave Finn Balor a chair. Suddenly, Seth Rollins nailed a Stomp on the chair and he won the match.

Rollins didn’t get much of a celebration as CM Punk came out through the crowd and hit him with a GTS. He was able to run off before Bronson and Breakker could get to him. Now, Seth Rollins will go on to Money in the Bank to take part in another Money in the Bank match. Only time will tell how it all goes down.

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. It will be the 16th event in the Money in the Bank series. It should be a big show, if anything, because it will also mark John Cena’s final Money in the Bank premium live event.

New Day Betray Creed Brothers To Retain Tag Team Titles During 5/26 WWE RAW

The May 26 episode of WWE RAW featured a WWE World Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. It was quite a match, because you never know what is going to happen next in WWE.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defended their titles against The War Raiders, and the team of Julius and Brutus Creed. All three teams had recent history, with momentum building over the past several weeks.

This match went down at the end of the show’s first hour. They spanned a commercial break, and through the match, New Day acted like they were working with American Made.

The idea was to keep the War Raiders disposed, but it didn’t work. Ivar and Erik were more than ready to pounce on any chance they could. In the end, the New Day betrayed the Creed Brothers to steal the win and retain the titles.

We will keep a close eye on the tag team division. The New Day have been holding it down in a big way with their latest heel run, but there is also no shortage of challengers around every turn.

The May 26 episode of WWE RAW went down at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. You never know what can happen each week, including the return of a fan-favorite.

This week’s WWE RAW saw Liv Morgan return. This segment went down during the show’s first hour. She had a lot to say about what has gone down in recent memory while she was gone. She also cut off Roxanne Perez before the Prodigy even had a chance to speak.

Raquel Rodriguez was keeping Liv Morgan up to date, and she had a lot to say. First, she left to see WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce about getting a Money in the Bank qualifying match.

Although Liv Morgan was filming a project, that wrapped up for her. She was out for a few weeks, and Roxanne Perez was brought into the picture as her potential fill-in. That move from Finn Balor wasn’t accepted too well by Dirty Dominik Mysterio, because he feared what Morgan will think.

Liv Morgan was spotted in the house before WWE RAW this week, so her return was expected. That being said, she’s been quite busy with her recent career developments while filming a new project overseas. Now it appears that she is back in WWE to stir the pot.

Vikingo Arrives To Help Penta Qualify For Money in the Bunk During 5/26 WWE RAW

The May 26 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The event continued the buildup to Money in the Bank and marked the end of WWE’s run of shows in Tampa.

Sami Zayn vs. The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins was scheduled to go down this week, but that wasn’t the only qualifying match. Another Men’s Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifying Match saw American Made’s Chad Cable vs. LWO’s Dragon Lee vs. Penta.

This match kicked off the show, right after Paul Heyman’s new stable had a chance to open up the program with a promo. Fans in Tampa were more than ready to watch the three go at it. Pretty early on, Penta and Dragon Lee made it clear that they wanted to eliminate Chad Gable from the situation so they could wrestle each other alone.

The contest carried on through a commercial break. Penta had a chance to really show off his power in this match as well, but he had stiff competition as well. Vikingo was in the crowd, and Chad Gable had some words for him. Then Dragon Lee came out of nowhere and dove onto Penta. At that point, Gable started hitting Vikingo before he continued the match in the ring. Then Penta and Gable traded chops for a bit.

The match continued as Chad Gable nailed a double German suplex, and then he hit a moonsault off the top for a near fall. Suddenly, Vikingo kicked Gable and Dragon Lee climbed up to nail a double stomp, but Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer followed by another move for the win.

Chad Gable was busted open, and he bled in a big way as Penta celebrated. Vikingo certainly sent a message in this match.
