Dominik Mysterio Wins AAA Mega Championship At Worlds Collide

Dominik Mysterio Wins AAA Mega Championship At Worlds Collide

Dirty Dom is a double champion.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2025 was quite a show in Las Vegas. That being said, one match needed to be switched up a bit. The Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in the Las Vegas was packed with fans, but they didn’t get to see Xavier Woods wrestle.

Dirty Dominik Mysterio and Vikingo closed out the show tonight, and they had quite a battle for the AAA Mega Championship.

This match had fans chanting loudly for Dominik Mysterio, as some wanted to see the WWE IC Champion leave Las Vegas with a second title.

There were a ton of near falls in this match, as both competitors gave each other everything they had. They survived several signature moves, including diving knees, powerbombs, dives, and plenty of stiff strikes.

Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh came down to help, but it backfired on Dominik Mysterio. They gave Dom a loaded mask, but then Vikingo just kicked him in the head. Dragon Lee came down next, and then Rey Mysterio entered the situation with a steel chair in hand. After all, Dominik Mysterio said that Rey would have to put the title on him if he won it.

The match continued in the ring, where Vikingo put Dominik in position to hit a 630 as fans booed him. Then El Grande Americano showed up to stop the referee from counting to three. Then Dirty Dom nailed a 6-1-9 and a splash, but there was no referee to make the count in time. The match kept going with Vikingo nailing a poisonrana, and then he tried to pull El Grande Americano’s mask off, but he slipped a metal plate to Dom, and he loaded the mask to nail a headbutt and a splash to win the match and become AAA Mega Champion. After the match, Rey Mysterio came in to put the title on his son, and this was quite a dramatic moment where the younger Mysterio demanded that his father put the title around his waist.

We will have to see what WWE and AAA are able to put together next. At this rate, they are certainly proving that whatever they are able to collaborate on is worth watching.

Wyatt Sicks Invade WWE x AAA Worlds Collide To Destroy Championship Team

Wyatt Sicks Invade WWE x AAA Worlds Collide To Destroy Championship Team

The Wyatt Sicks can’t be contained.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide went down in Las Vegas tonight. You never know who will show up at one of those show, including the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Xavier Woods couldn’t compete at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide tonight. Since Xavier Woods couldn’t wrestle in the AAA Tag Team Title match, it was changed. So, Pagano and Psycho Clown defended the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston, who was accompanied by Xavier Woods.

Pagano and Psycho Clown won their match and retained the titles. Then they started to give a post-match interview. However, their time in the ring with the microphone was cut short.

The Wyatt Sicks made their way down and fans lost their minds. Then the Wyatt Sicks got in the ring and proceeded to destroy Pagano and Psycho Clown. Then they held up the AAA Tag Team Champions to pose after the demolition.

The AAA Tag Team Champions were left totally destroyed in Las Vegas. Needless to say, but there could be a lot more to this story when everything is said and done.

Fans Berate WrestleMania 43 Promo With 'You Sold Out' Chants During WWE X AAA Worlds Collide

Fans aren’t thrilled about WrestleMania 43’s location.

WWE Worlds Collide went down on September 12, 2025, at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was quite a show with a very lively crowd.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide went down in Las Vegas tonight. That was the same city where WWE announced that WrestleMania 43 will be in Saudi Arabia in 2027, and fans took notice.

During the premium live event, WWE aired a promo to hype WrestleMania 43’s historic location. This was not seen in the best light, because fans in the building reacted.

Fans started chanting “You Sold Out” inside the venue after WWE played their Saudi Arabia video package to hyped WrestleMania in 2027. That sound was also picked up on the microphones, so fans had their voices heard during the broadcast.

We previously noted that fans are not happy about the WrestleMania 43 location. Not only is it a very expensive destination, but some also feel that Saudi Arabia used their massive checkbook to skip the line over more deserving cities, like London. After all, John Cena said that London has earned the showcase of the immortals.

Natalya Wins AAA Reina de Reinas #1 Contender’s Match at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Natalya Wins AAA Reina de Reinas #1 Contender’s Match at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Natalya just punched her ticket to a future title shot in Mexico.

During WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on September 12, 2025, the former WWE Women’s Champion defeated Faby Apache in a physical showdown to become the #1 contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

The match opened with a tense lock-up and quickly broke down into a fight. Apache took control early, grounding Natalya and landing stiff strikes, but Natalya came back swinging—literally. After landing a discus clothesline and series of short-arm lariats, she turned the match into a technical clinic.

At one point, Natalya locked in a sleeper hold and then transitioned into a punishing surfboard stretch. Apache responded with a cradle for a near-fall and followed up with a flying body press and big boot, nearly sealing the deal.

As both women traded submissions—Apache targeting Natalya’s ankle, and Natalya countering into a flurry of pin attempts—the finish came with Natalya rolling Apache up for the win.

Things didn’t end with the bell, though. After the match, Natalya and Apache had to be separated by the referee as tempers flared—clearly, this rivalry isn’t over.

Natalya’s win places her squarely in line for a shot at AAA’s top women’s title, and fans will now be watching closely to see when she cashes in that opportunity.

Do you think Natalya has what it takes to capture the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, or will Faby Apache come looking for revenge first? Drop your thoughts in the comments.

Possible Injury Could Force Match Change at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Possible Injury Could Force Match Change at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

The WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on September 12 in Las Vegas is already facing potential changes after a frightening moment during AAA’s Alliances tour in Mexico.

The incident took place at the Showcenter Complex in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, during a triple threat tag team match for the AAA World Tag Team Titles. Los Garza teamed up with Octagón Jr. and Laredo Kid to take on champions Pagano and Psycho Clown, among others.

Pagano and Psycho Clown retained the titles after Pagano hit a top-rope Guillotine on Octagón Jr. But the move went horribly wrong. Pagano landed directly on Octagón’s head, leaving him motionless after the match.

Referees quickly checked on him and flashed the dreaded “X” sign, signaling a real injury. Octagón Jr. couldn’t walk to the back on his own, and the situation immediately raised concern over his status for Worlds Collide.

He’s currently scheduled to team with La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, and Nino Hamburguesa in an eight-man “Lucha Showcase” tag match against Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro. But if he’s concussed, AAA and WWE may have no choice but to pull him from the match entirely.

So far, there’s been no official update on his condition or word on a replacement but Ringside News will continue to keep our readers updated as information becomes available.

The joint event between WWE and AAA was shaping up to be a unique collision of wrestling worlds, but a legitimate injury could throw a wrench into the card at the last minute.

Do you think AAA and WWE should replace Octagón Jr. if he’s not cleared, or should they delay the match until he’s healthy? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
