Mr. Iguana Gets WWE RAW Video Package After Worlds Collide Performance Catches Fire

Mr. Iguana’s time in WWE didn’t end at Worlds Collide—it’s just getting started.

The AAA luchador unexpectedly became one of the breakout stars from WWE x AAA Worlds Collide and WWE Money in the Bank weekend. Now, WWE is wasting no time capitalizing on his viral momentum.

On the June 9th episode of WWE RAW, fans were treated to a full-on Mr. Iguana video package, featuring the charismatic luchador and his signature sidekick, La Yezca.

This came after Mr. Iguana teamed with Aerostar and Octagon Jr. in a fast-paced trios match against Lince Dorado and LWO’s Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro. While the in-ring action was top-notch, it was Mr. Iguana’s charm, comedic timing, and colorful presentation that grabbed the spotlight—and clearly, WWE took notice.

As reported earlier, One NXT source indicated they will be pushing for him to make appearances. That internal push comes after Iguana’s backstage presence reportedly impressed several WWE officials, with his enthusiastic cooperation and energy described as a breath of fresh air.

His appearance was also a massive hit on social media, becoming one of the most liked WWE posts of the weekend, proof that the fans—many of whom may have never seen him before—instantly connected with the reptilian showman.

Whether or not Mr. Iguana becomes a regular fixture on NXT remains to be seen, but WWE’s decision to feature him on RAW suggests something bigger may be in play. For now, it’s clear that both fans and WWE execs see something special in him—and they’re not afraid to lean into it.

Mr. Iguana didn’t just show up for a guest spot. He stole the moment, charmed a new audience, and now has WWE’s machine behind him. Let’s see where this wild ride takes him next.

El Hijo del Vikingo Retains Mega Championship In Wild Match At WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

El Hijo del Vikingo Retains Mega Championship In Wild Match At WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE brought another groundbreaking event with Worlds Collide. The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, was full of fans who wanted to see this fresh combination of lucha libre and WWE Superstars.

During WWE Worlds Collide, El Hijo del Vikingo defended the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable. This match had fans going from start to finish, as Gable competed as himself and not the El Grande Americano character, who is in the Money in the Bank ladder match tonight.

This match went down as the main event of the show during this historic event. The contest also received a really big match feel thanks to Lilian Garcia’s expert Spanish ring announcing skills.

Gable and Vikingo worked seamlessly together, with each of them having an immediate answer to the other’s offense. Fans also blasted them with chants, mostly in support of Vikingo. The two locked up for a test of strength, and Vikingo was able to push Gable down, but the American bridged his way out of it. That led into a body scissors, which transitioned into another flawless move to complete another sequence of chain wrestling.

Eventually, a table was set up and the two fought outside the ring. The two returned to the squared circle, where the match continued. Gable took control for a while, leaving Vikingo to sell the attack in the ring. This slowed the match down a bit to Gable’s pace.

Gable kept control of the match, and he missed a moonsault to land on his feet. Then he caught Vikingo on the top rope and climbed up for a top rope sit-down powerbomb and a near fall. Eventually, Vikingo got back up and hit a Mexican destroyer on Gable on the apron.

The match carried on and Gable placed Vikingo on the table to nail a moonsault off the top rope. The table broke and fans were stunned by what they both brought to the table as the referee counted, but both competitors got back in before he could count to 10.

In the end, Vikingo rallied and hit a string of fast moves. Then he hit a 630 off the top rope to secure the win and retain the AAA Mega Championship.

Vikingo making his way to WWE was an especially hard blow to AEW. The company had been using him, and Tony Khan was booking him on television. Now WWE has access to the lucha star, and they are taking full advantage of that. Vikingo was also featured sitting in the crowd at ringside during recent WWE events, so he’s getting a focus.

We will have to see what is next for AAA and WWE’s new partnership. Worlds Collide as quite a special event, and it gave fans some very inventive booking.

Savio Vega Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Savio Vega Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

The surprises kept coming at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, but few carried the same weight of nostalgia and respect as the appearance of Puerto Rican wrestling icon Savio Vega.

Following Santos Escobar’s six-man tag team victory alongside Angel and Berto over AAA’s El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown, cameras cut to a familiar face in the crowd—Savio Vega seated prominently at ringside.

What made the moment even more interesting? Seated right next to him was WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.

The two Puerto Rican stars shared the screen for several seconds, and commentary subtly acknowledged the moment without drawing too much attention—leaving fans to soak in what felt like a passing of the torch between generations. For longtime fans, seeing Vega—who’s been involved in various WWE moments dating back to the 1990s—sitting next to a current top champion made for a powerful visual.

Savio Vega has remained close to the WWE family, even appearing during the Puerto Rico-based Backlash event in 2023. His connection to Latin American wrestling culture and influence across both WWE and AAA makes his presence at Worlds Collide especially meaningful, particularly on a night celebrating cross-promotional history.

With the crowd loud after Escobar’s win and the cameras locking in on Vega, it was clear this wasn’t a random cameo. WWE sent a quiet but clear message—icons like Savio still matter, and their presence rings loud when the spotlight hits the intersection of legacy and future.

Do you think WWE has plans for Savio Vega going forward—or was this just a respectful nod during a night of cultural celebration? Let us know in the comments below.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Chavo Guerrero Jr. Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide was full of surprises, but few moments caught as much attention as the unexpected appearance of Chavo Guerrero Jr. at ringside.

The former WWE and lucha libre legend was spotted sitting front row after Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice secured a victory over Dalys and Chik Tormenta in tag team action.

Right as the match wrapped and Stephanie and Lola celebrated their win, cameras cut to Chavo Guerrero Jr. in the crowd alongside The Street Profits. Commentary briefly acknowledged the moment, and his face was clearly shown on screen—a visual that didn’t feel accidental. In a show already centered on WWE’s partnership with AAA, Chavo’s appearance sent the message loud and clear: the Guerrero legacy is still deeply connected to both companies.

Chavo hasn’t been a regular presence on WWE TV in years, but his appearance comes at a time when WWE is leaning heavily into cross-promotional storytelling. Whether it was just a respectful nod to his heritage or something more remains to be seen.

The match that preceded it was a solid showcase for WWE’s women’s division, as RAW’s “Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer and NXT’s Lola Vice picked up the win against AAA’s Dalys and Chik Tormenta. The energy was high, and the chemistry between Vaquer and Lola suggested WWE may be building something special with that pairing.

Is Chavo just watching from the sidelines, or could he be planting seeds for a return of some kind?

Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton Spotted Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE’s Worlds Collide show was already packed with action, but a big surprise came after the opening match—and things got even more interesting shortly afterward. Right after Dominik Mysterio challenged Octagon Jr. to a match at Money in the Bank, WWE Women’s Champions Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton were shown sitting ringside.

The visual wasn’t a throwaway moment. Cameras zoomed in on the champions as commentary acknowledged their presence, signaling that WWE wanted fans to take notice. With Tiffany representing SmackDown and Iyo holding down RAW, both champions watching the crossover event up close could hint at future storylines involving AAA talent—or even each other.

Is WWE planting seeds for a crossover clash involving its women’s champions—or was it simply about having the top names front and center? Either way, the ringside sightings were hard to miss.

Do you think Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton showing up at Worlds Collide means something bigger is coming? Should WWE do more with cross-brand appearances like this? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Money In The Bank Title Match Added During WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Money In The Bank Title Match Added During WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE presented Worlds Collide today, and Money in the Bank is tonight. That doesn’t mean the Money in the Bank card is 100% completed.

During the opening match of Worlds Collide, Mr. Iguana, Aero Star and Octagon Jr beat the LWO. That was quite a match and Mr. Iguana stole the show. However, Octagon Jr took the focus after the match.

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were at ringside. After the match, Dominik cut a promo in English and Spanish, dragging Octagon Jr. That is when Octagon approached Dirty Dom.

The two brawled eventually after Dominik Mysterio shoved Octagon Jr. After the brawl was broken up, Dom grabbed the microphone and announced that he will see Octagon Jr at Money in the Bank. The WWE IC Title will also be on the line.

We will have to see how Money in the Bank turns out for Dominik Mysterio. Worlds Collide was certainly an interesting event, and he made the most of his front row tickets.

What’s your take on this new Money in the Bank title match? Do you think that Dominik Mysterio will lose the title? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio Spotted Together Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio Spotted Together Ringside at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide kicked off June 7th from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and while fans expected action inside the ring, all eyes turned to the crowd when Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio were shown together at ringside.

The moment happened right before the opening six-man tag match between WWE RAW’s LWO (Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro) and WWE NXT’s Lince Dorado against AAA’s Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana. As the camera panned across the front row, Corey Graves pointed out Liv and Dom sitting next to each other, and

As for the rest of the show, the broadcast opened with a video narrated by Rey Mysterio, setting the tone for WWE’s new ownership of AAA and their shared event. Triple H and Shawn Michaels were shown standing alongside AAA legends Blue Demon Jr. and Marisela Peña before the national anthems of Mexico and the U.S. played. Commentary throughout the show was handled by Corey Graves and Konnan, while Marcelo Rodriguez led the Spanish broadcast team.

But even with championships on the line and top-tier matches booked, the ringside appearance of Liv and Dom stole early attention—and fans are already speculating what it means heading into the rest of the summer.

Are Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio just playing it up for the cameras, or could this be leading to something bigger on-screen? Drop your thoughts and theories in the comment section below.
