Dark State Attacks After Huge NXT Title Match Announcement Shakes Up Stand & Deliver

Dark State Attacks After Huge NXT Title Match Announcement Shakes Up Stand & Deliver

The April 1 episode of NXT brought a big episode for the company’s developmental brand. With Stand & Deliver coming up on April 19, the company booked a huge match.

Trick Williams took to the ring as the second hour of NXT started this week. He was not happy at all, and he was only looking to get even with Oba Femi and become NXT Champion once again.

Williams mentioned how he hasn’t heard from Oba Femi after calling him out last week. He pumped the crowd up as he talked about how he sacrificed for everything, just so this could become the Whoop That Era.

Je’Von Evans came out to assert himself into the situation. After all, he attacked Trick Williams last week on NXT. Evans brought up how Williams was in his shoes this time last year, looking for an NXT Title shot. Williams then made it clear that Evans can’t carry the company on his back.

Then Je’Von Evans insulted Trick by calling him Carmelo Hayes. That only upset Williams in a big way. That is when Oba Femi made his way out to finally speak his piece. He wasn’t happy about how his name was being talked about. Evans then brought up how he almost beat Femi at NXT Deadline.

As Oba Femi was addressing his two hopeful challengers, Ava came out to address them. She said that Oba Femi will defend his NXT Title against Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans in a triple threat match.

After that, a brawl broke out, and Oba Femi stood tall. Then the lights went down and Dark State showed up. They attacked Femi and Evans in the ring, and they let everyone laid out, including Trick Williams. We will have to see how things go at Stand & Deliver at this point.

Stephanie Vaquer Vacates Women’s North American Title During 4/1 WWE NXT

Stephanie Vaquer Vacates Women's North American Title During 4/1 WWE NXT

NXT’s April 1st episode came out swinging, and fans didn’t expect what dropped right out of the gate—Stephanie Vaquer is no longer a double champ.

The show kicked off with NXT GM Ava bringing out Vaquer, the reigning NXT Women’s and Women’s North American Champion. But what started as a victory lap turned into a controversial moment when Ava made a major announcement. “Each title needs to be defended,” she said before revealing that she and Vaquer had agreed to relinquish the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

The crowd wasn’t having it. Fans inside the NXT Arena booed the move immediately, but Vaquer quickly stepped up with a twist of her own. “I will only give up this title if I get to choose my opponent at Stand & Deliver,” Vaquer stated, throwing down a bold demand.

Seconds later, Jordynne Grace’s music hit and the TNA star walked out—clearly ready to throw hands. But before anything could get official, Jaida Parker stormed the scene, claiming she’s the one next in line. The face-off exploded into a brawl, leaving fans guessing who’ll actually face Vaquer on WrestleMania weekend.

Meanwhile, Ava confirmed a six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver will crown the next North American Champion—leaving that belt up for grabs in what’s bound to be total chaos.

Did Vaquer just make a power play, or did she give up too much? And who should challenge her at Stand & Deliver—Grace or Parker? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think of this massive shake-up.

Logan Paul Makes WrestleMania 41 Challenge During 3/31 WWE RAW

Logan Paul Makes WrestleMania 41 Challenge During 3/31 WWE RAW

WWE’s European tour is nearing its end, with the O2 Arena hosting the March 31 episode of RAW. The night featured Logan Paul making an appearance to call out AJ Styles.

It appears that fans will have Logan Paul vs AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41. That will be quite an addition to the card at the end of the day. This week on RAW, things between the two were kicked up a notch.

AJ Styles made his way to the ring as the second hour of RAW came to a close. The Phenomenal One received a great response from the London crowd, before he called out Logan Paul before The Maverick could do it himself.

Styles invited Logan Paul to come out and say anything to his face that he has to say. The Maverick couldn’t get one line out without fans drowning him out with boos. They were relentless as he tried to say that they were on his time. He called fans “sheep” as he continued to mock Styles.

Logan Paul said he’s trying to learn how to display forgiveness for the benefit of his baby girl. Fans chanted for him to “shut the f*ck up” instead. Styles said he felt that, and he forgave him as well, but he forgave him for being the biggest douchebag to ever step foot in WWE. Syles then said that Paul has all the talent in the world, but that will only get him so far.

When Logan Paul tried to respond, he was heavily booed once again. AJ Styles told him not to write a check his ass can’t cash. When Paul asked if that’s a threat, Styles confirmed that he’s ready for a fight. Then Logan Paul said he doesn’t fight for free, and London can’t afford him.

At that time, Logan Paul told AJ Styles to set his sights higher. He pointed at the WrestleMania sign and then tried for a cheap shot. Styles fought back, and then Paul retreated, only to have Styles follow him to ringside so he could continue the assault. Paul eventually got a cheap shot on Styles, and then he hit a Pauldimizer on AJ Styles to close out the segment.

It seems that a WrestleMania challenge was made during this explosive segment. They certainly left a lot on the table in London.

UPDATE: The match was confirmed by WWE moments later on social media.

Unexpected Mishap Costs Penta His WWE Undefeated Streak on RAW

Unexpected Mishap Costs Penta His WWE Undefeated Streak on RAW

WWE RAW rolled into London’s O2 Arena on March 31, but it wasn’t a perfect night for everyone—especially not for Penta. The masked star, fresh off a fiery start to his WWE run, just took his first L inside a WWE ring, and fans didn’t see it coming.

Penta teamed up with Bron Breakker to face Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. With both Penta and Balor eyeing GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship, this tag match carried some extra heat. But when it came down to the final bell, Finn Balor scored the pinfall over Penta—and it was clean. No outside interference, no shady ref call. Penta just didn’t kick out.

That’s a rare sight for longtime fans of the former Lucha Brother, who’s known for making opponents regret even stepping in the ring with him. But Monday night marked his first official WWE loss, and the vibe backstage says he’s already plotting redemption.

Despite the loss, it’s clear WWE has big plans for Penta. He’s been protected on screen and continues to draw big reactions from the crowd. In today’s WWE landscape, even top-tier stars take the occasional loss—just ask Cody Rhodes.

Still, this one stings for fans who expected Penta’s undefeated streak to last a bit longer. Expect him to bounce back strong—and possibly with some revenge aimed directly at Balor.

Are you surprised WWE handed Penta his first loss in a tag match? Should he go after Balor next or stay focused on GUNTHER’s gold? Drop your thoughts below—we’re watching.

New Catch Republic Make Surprise Return During 3/31 WWE RAW

WWE brought RAW to the O2 Arena in London for their March 31 episode. There was a lot on the table all night, with the road to WrestleMania in full swing. Naturally, surprises are always possible.

New Catch Republic haven’t wrestled together since July 2024. This week on RAW, that ended as Adam Pearce announced that Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne were the New Day’s surprise opponents.

The New Day have been trying to get a tag team title match. The War Raiders are the current champions, but Adam Pearce made it clear that Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston had to get through the New Catch Republic first.

Pete Dunne was on his A-Game for this match. Tyler Bate was able to hit his airplane spin as well. The New Day used their latest heel tactics as well, but New Catch Republic didn’t go down without a fight. In the end, The New Day won the match after nailing Dunne with their finisher.

Tyler Bate has been recovering from a torn pec for around 9 months, but he’s now back in action. The New Catch Republic’s return to RAW brought quite a reaction from the London crowd.

We will have to see what happens next, but the tag team division certainly have quite an addition with New Catch Republic’s return to the scene.

Vince McMahon & Tony Khan Get Mentions In Fiery Cody Rhodes & John Cena Promo Battle On 3/31 WWE RAW

Vince McMahon & Tony Khan Get Mentions In Fiery Cody Rhodes & John Cena Promo Battle On 3/31 WWE RAW

WWE is wrapping up a long European tour, and the O2 Arena hosted the March 31 episode of RAW. That was sure to be a big night, because John Cena was in the house once again.

John Cena has driven fans wild with his heel turn, unleashing pent-up frustration that he’s had for twenty years. Now that fans are on the road to WrestleMania 41, an Undisputed WWE Title match against Cody Rhodes was one of the hottest matches on the card.

John Cena opened up WWE RAW this week, and he didn’t get a word out before Cody Rhodes’ music hit. After the fans were finished singing, the two got down to their promo battle.

Cody Rhodes got to talk first, jumping ahead of Cena before he could speak. Instead, Cody Rhodes made fun of himself, including his lisp as he said “Stardust.” Then Rhodes brought up how he has an arm tattoo on his neck. Then Cody said that Cena has been lying to fans for the last few weeks, because he did care about them.

Cody invited Cena to tell fans why he really turned on them, and fans chanted “you sold out.” John Cena said that he’s not going to punch down to Cody’s level and reduce himself just to protect him. He also promised to bury Cody and not cook him, just like he’s buried everyone else. Then John Cena said he doesn’t bury talent, he is talent, he buries mediocrity.

John Cena then called out WWE for giving the top title to his chauffeur, and he also called him a slimy pick-pocket who stole every secret he could to be undeniable. Cena said that Cody is still underwhelming instead. He then said that Cody is the pied piper, who convinced fans to love his song and accept his mediocrity.

After John Cena called Cody Rhodes a nepo-baby, he then mocked him for getting that tattoo on his neck in the first place. Cena then said that Cody can buy a toy belt, because the last real champion is winning the title at WrestleMania 41.

Cody Rhodes said that the fans picked him, but one man in an office that we don’t talk about anymore because he’s not here picked Cena. That brought a big reaction from the crowd. Rhodes then said Cena has more dick in that promo than he does in his jorts and he didn’t leave WWE for the better when he left for Hollywood. Then Rhodes said that Cena sold out to The Rock, which brought “you sold out” chants from the fans once again.

After Cody Rhodes said that Cena is still his hero, he said he’s a “piece of sh*t,” and that brought out “piece of sh*t” chants once again. Cena then said that he’s made empires for billionaires, and all he’s done is steal money from their kids, which was a direct mention for Cody Rhodes and his father, but they didn’t name him.

As John Cena was leaving, Cody Rhodes said that fans have never chanted “you can’t wrestle” at him. That caused Cena to come back and he tried for a cheap shot, but Cody stopped him and nailed a Crossroads to lay Cena out.

MJF’s Invitation To Join Hurt Syndicate Takes Turn During 3/26 AEW Dynamite

MJF's Invitation To Join Hurt Syndicate Takes Turn During 3/26 AEW Dynamite

The March 26 episode of AEW Dynamite had a lot on the table as they rolled into St. Paul, Minnesota. That included MJF making a big decision.

MJF was on hand around 20 minutes into Dynamite this week. He started out by insulting Prince, a Minnesota legend, and then he got right down to business.

MVP made MJF a very attractive offer to join the Hurt Syndicate, and this week MJF was on hand to make his final decision. This is a choice he’s been mulling over for two weeks.

MJF got right down to business, as he told MVP that he would like to get into the business of hurting people. That is when Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin came out to join them.

Bobby Lashley then asked for the card that MVP gave MJF, and he handed it over. Then Lashley ripped up the card. That sent MJF leaving to the back, and he didn’t look happy. We will have to see what happens next in this situation, but things are certainly interesting in the land of All Elite.

Penta Rejects Judgment Day After Brutal Main Event on WWE RAW in Glasgow

Penta Rejects Judgment Day After Brutal Main Event on WWE RAW in Glasgow

The March 24 episode of WWE RAW wrapped up in chaos, but the biggest takeaway wasn’t just about titles or cheap shots — it was about Penta sending a loud message to Judgment Day: He’s not for sale.

The main event from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland saw Bron Breakker put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Penta, who’s still fresh in WWE after his AEW contract expired. It was a huge spot for Penta, and he didn’t waste it.

Although the match didn’t receive any dramatic ring introductions, the crowd was locked in from the start. Bron Breakker came out swinging, launching Penta to the outside and delivering a wild dive that sent both men flying over the announce table. WWE’s Michael Cole gave zero acknowledgment to Penta’s AEW history, focusing only on what he’s done since arriving in WWE.

As the match raged on, Dominik Mysterio and Carlito appeared at ringside — both of whom had previously tried to recruit Penta into Judgment Day. That looming offer added tension to every move.

Penta fired back after absorbing a ton of punishment, countering Breakker’s spear with a sharp superkick. The two traded huge shots as fans in Glasgow went wild with dueling chants. Penta nailed a diving head scissors from the top rope and a Mexican Destroyer for a near fall that had the arena shaking.

Then the shenanigans kicked in.

Dominik distracted Penta, Carlito distracted Breakker, and eventually Dom struck Breakker to trigger a disqualification. That’s when the beatdown started. Finn Balor stormed the ring with a steel chair and cracked it over Breakker, then handed it to Dominik to keep the assault going.

But the real moment of truth came seconds later. Dom passed the chair to Penta — handing him the ultimate test of loyalty. Penta took the chair… and then blasted Dom with it instead, followed by a brutal superkick. The crowd erupted as Penta made it crystal clear: he’s not Judgment Day material.

His defiance didn’t come without a price. Judgment Day turned their full attention to Penta and unloaded. Balor crushed Breakker with another chair shot before hitting Coup de Grace on Penta to close the show.

In one night, Penta made a definitive statement: he’s his own man, even if it means going through hell.

Do you think Penta should stay solo or would he be better off joining a faction in WWE? What’s next for him after rejecting Judgment Day? Let us know in the comments — we want to hear your take.
