Adam Cole Wins TNT Title At AEW Dynasty 2025

Adam Cole Wins TNT Title At AEW Dynasty 2025

AEW Dynasty 2025 took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tony Khan’s company presented a full lineup of matches, including a TNT Championship bout held under high-stakes conditions.

Daniel Garcia defended the AEW TNT Championship against Adam Cole in a match with no time limit and no outside interference. Cole has been trying to regain his footing since returning from a long injury hiatus, and a TNT Championship run seemed to be on his mind in Philly.

This match went down after Bandido won the ROH World Title from Chris Jericho. That was a big moment for ROH, but then the focus went back to an AEW title. Fans were behind Adam Cole, but Daniel Garcia also had a fair amount of the crowd in his corner.

They started off slow, as the two felt each other out. Then Garcia mounted Cole in the corner to deliver some punches and maintain control. They continued after Cole dumped him to the apron and nailed a superkick to the floor.

The match kept going and Daniel Garcia dropped Adam Cole right on his head with a piledriver. That was a scary moment, but he got back up to fight on. Garcia eventually got an ankle lock on Cole, but Mr. Bay Bay was able to get out of it.

Eventually, Adam Cole nailed a Panama Sunrise and a Boom Kick for a near fall. Garcia fired back, and he placed Cole on the top rope, where he climbed up to try a piledriver off the top rope, but Adam fought him off. However, Cole was able to come back and pick up the win. This marked his 17th anniversary in the pro wrestling business, and it was quite a night in Philly.

We will have to see what’s in the future for the TNT Title. At this point, Tony Khan’s company has certainly done a lot to boost the title’s prestige.

What’s your take on how the TNT Title has been booked so far? Where does it rank among other secondary titles in WWE? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Anthony Bowens Returns To Accept Max Caster’s Open Challenge During AEW Dynasty Zero Hour

Anthony Bowens Returns To Accept Max Caster's Open Challenge During AEW Dynasty Zero Hour

AEW Dynasty 2025 went down at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was a big show, including the Zero Hour.

Max Caster got a lot of heat from the Philly crowd, including sporting a Ben Simmons jersey. Then the time came for his open challenge opponent to come out, and Anthony Bowens came out with new music and Billy Gunn by his side.

After the match, Anthony Bowens posed for the camera, and he cut a short promo directly into the camera lens. He obviously has a lot of momentum on him right now.

The Acclaimed broke up in January, and they went their separate ways. Anthony Bowens hasn’t been in the spotlight since then, but Max Caster has gone on to proclaim himself as the best wrestler alive.

Now, the two have finally faced off against each other. This was a very interesting addition to the Zero Hour show, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next.

CM Punk Reveals Favor From Paul Heyman During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

CM Punk Reveals Favor From Paul Heyman During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

The April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown was held at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It marked WWE’s return to the United States after an overseas tour, with the path to WrestleMania ongoing.

CM Punk is set to take on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41. That match build has really been interesting, and now we know that they will main event one night of the showcase of the immortals this year.

CM Punk kicked off RAW in Chicago this week, and he received a huge welcome from his home city fans. This included Punk taking the camera from the operator and taking a pan of the crowd himself. During that opening segment, Paul Heyman came out and asked a favor of Punk, but Punk decided to wait until Roman Reigns was around later on in the show to deal with it. Heyman still owes Punk a favor because he was in the WarGames match on the OTC’s team. That is how the opening segment ended.

Roman Reigns finally showed up just before the final segment kicked off at around 10:45 PM. The OTC didn’t waste any time as he made his way directly to the ring. After Reigns addressed the Chicago fans, he asked Paul Heyman, “is he here,” and fans started to chant for CM Punk. Roman Reigns wanted to know if Punk was still talking about the favor he is owed from the Wise Man.

Roman Reigns shared a secret next, saying that “CM Punk wouldn’t be back here if it wasn’t for me. CM Punk wouldn’t be in the main event of WrestleMania if it wasn’t for me.” He then mocked Chicago fans for cheering Punk on just because he’s from their city. Reigns then said that Punk has wrestled Hall of Famers and top names at WrestleMania, but he has never been given a main event spot at WrestleMania until he was introduced to the OTC.

Reigns then said that they should get CM Punk out there and hear what this favor is that Paul Heyman owes him. Instead, Seth Rollins came out. The Visionary introduced himself to the Chicago crowd, and he made it clear that he wouldn’t miss this segment for the world. He wants to know what this favor is that Heyman has for Punk.

Roman Reigns said that Seth Rollins isn’t trustworthy, and CM Punk is here because Roman made a promise to the Wise Man. Then Reigns reminded Seth that he didn’t call him out there, he called Punk out.

CM Punk came out next as Seth Rollins leaned against the turnbuckle to wait for the Second City Saint. He got right to business by addressing the favor that Paul Heyman owes him, one that is about legacy, friendship, loyalty, and promises kept. Punk said that this promise goes back to OVW when Paul Heyman was told that CM Punk doesn’t belong, and he was told to fire him, but Heyman wouldn’t. Punk hasn’t forgotten about any of that, and he brought back even more history as Heyman, Big Show, and RVD once had a conversation about how they were going to fire Punk after Paul Heyman left WWE years ago. Then he reminded Paul Heyman that he was told that when he main events WrestleMania “to force them to deal with us.” Then Punk revealed that Paul Heyman will be in his corner at WrestleMania and not Roman Reigns. That was quite a bombshell, and it seems that is also the favor that the Wise man owes the Second City Saint.

Roman Reigns laughed this off, saying that Paul Heyman would never leave him for CM Punk. He asked Paul to “let this fool down easy, will ya?” At that time, Heyman stalled and “CM Punk” chants broke out. Paul started to cry as Roman told him to tell him no. Finally, Heyman told him that he can’t tell CM Punk no. CM Punk smiled as Seth Rollins fell to the mat in laughter. At that point, Punk attacked Roman Reigns and nailed him with a GTS for good measure.

The road to WrestleMania is in full swing, and we can’t wait to bring you all the updates you need. Please keep checking back with Ringside News for more as we continue to cover whatever happens next.

Kevin Owens Reveals Neck Surgery Will Take Him Out of WrestleMania During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

Kevin Owens Reveals Neck Surgery Will Take Him Out of WrestleMania During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

The April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. That marked a return to the USA after a long overseas tour, and the road to WrestleMania was still in full swing.

News broke that Kevin Owens is injured and needs surgery. That cast huge doubt on KO’s WrestleMania status. He was previously set to face Randy Orton at the showcase of the immortals.

The 10 PM hour kicked off with Nick Aldis cutting a solemn promo about how injuries can come up out of nowhere. That is when he introduced Kevin Owens, who came out looking pretty sad. Kevin started off by saying that he’s been doing this for 25 years, and he’s given everything he had every time he stepped foot in the ring. Because of that, he’s been given a great career and livelihood. However, there is a price to pay for all of that.

Kevin Owens then revealed that he’s been dealing with a neck injury. Now he needs neck surgery. He will be out for WrestleMania and his match against Randy Orton isn’t happening. He said that not being in the ring with Orton at Mania “really sucks.” Then he thanked WWE for letting him come out and tell everyone that. He then said he doesn’t know when he’ll be able to be in front of fans again.

Owens said he has learned not to take anything for granted, and he will never take this for granted. Fans in Chicago applauded and chanted for Kevin Owens as he apologized and hugged Nick Aldis. Then he departed from the ring as Randy Orton’s music hit.

Instead of dealing with Randy Orton in the ring, Kevin Owens left. Orton was left standing in the ring by himself, looking on at his former friend. Nick Aldis told Orton that he no longer has a WrestleMania match, and fans booed this. Then Orton hit Aldis with an RKO instead.

We will have to see when Kevin Owens makes his return to WWE television. We are certainly wishing him the best during this time.

Tiffany Stratton Takes Personal Shot at Charlotte Flair’s Divorce Record on WWE SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton Takes Personal Shot at Charlotte Flair’s Divorce Record on WWE SmackDown

After wrapping up a month-long tour in Europe, WWE returned to the United States for the April 4 episode of SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The show kept the focus on the road to WrestleMania as the blue brand picked up right where it left off.

During the second hour of SmackDown this week, Charlotte Flair made her way out to the ring. She didn’t get much of a chance to speak before Tiffany Stratton joined her in the ring.

Fans cheered for Charlotte Flair, and she said it was power. This led Stratton to get a “Tiffy Time” chant from the Chicago fans. That is when Charlotte Flair was asked by Wade Barrett why she picked Stratton to face at WrestleMania. Flair likened it to charity. She also wanted to show pro wrestling fans that there is no comparison between the two.

Tiffany Stratton pointed out how Charlotte’s biggest competitor has always been the fans. She called out Flair’s facade of trying to maintain two personas, and how she will always come second to her daddy, Ric Flair. She also said at WrestleMania, Flair will come second to her.

Tiffany Stratton continued to get cheers from the Chicago fans as they booed Flair. She then tried to get a response out, but fans booed her out of the building. Charlotte Flair was trying to point out how her last few competitors have said she comes second to her dad. Fans kept booing Charlotte, and she loved every moment of it with a big smile on her face.

Stratton got to have the last word, and she said that Flair was trying to be a volleyball player drinking in her daddy’s basement, while Tiffany is WWE Women’s Champion. Stratton pointed out how it seems that she got to Flair, and “outside the ring you ain’t the queen of sh*t.” That is when Charlotte Flair tried to mock Stratton’s high-pitched voice. Stratton then called her a nepo-baby, and she’ll be alone “what is that, zero and three?” This was a direct reference to Charlotte Flair’s history of failed marriages. Charlotte Flair tried to come back to asked why Ludwig Kaiser is in her DMs, but that didn’t seem to phase her as Stratton left and posed for the Chicago crowd.

Charlotte Flair won the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She soon picked Tiffany Stratton as her WrestleMania 41 opponent. We will have to see who walks out of Las Vegas as WWE Women’s Champion.

Rey Fenix Wins Debut Match During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

Rey Fenix Wins Debut Match During 4/4 WWE SmackDown

Rey Fenix just made it crystal clear—he didn’t jump to WWE to play it safe. The former AEW star made his long-awaited debut on the April 4 episode of SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, and the crowd was all in from the second his name hit the screen.

WWE hyped Fenix’s in-ring debut right after CM Punk and Paul Heyman kicked off the show, and the energy in the building skyrocketed. Fans had been waiting to see what Fenix could do under the WWE banner, and he didn’t disappoint.

Going toe-to-toe with one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Nathan Frazer, Fenix stepped into the ring with a perfect dance partner. The match was fast, aggressive, and never lost momentum—even during the picture-in-picture commercial break. Frazer came out swinging in his own SmackDown debut, but Fenix kept kicking out of every big move thrown at him.

The finish was straight-up chaos. After drilling Frazer with the Goodbye Amigos Kick and a Firedriver for a near-fall that left the crowd gasping, Fenix finished the job with a brutal knee to the head in the corner and a Mexican Muscle Buster for the clean win.

After the bell, Byron Saxton hit the ring for a quick post-match interview. Fenix thanked Chicago for its love and said this moment was much more than just a debut. “Tonight, I’ve been rewarded with love and passion. I waited my whole life for this moment—and now I can say, I am WWE.”

Backstage, Legado del Fantasma was watching—and the tension flared fast. Santos Escobar complimented the match, saying it was “exactly what I expect from them.” But Humberto Carrillo wasn’t impressed, calling Fenix a “flying lizard” and a “flash in the pan.”

Escobar fired back, demanding to see that same fire from Humberto in the ring. He then said he was heading straight to Nick Aldis to make something happen.

With Fenix officially in WWE and already making enemies, it looks like things are about to get very personal on SmackDown.
