The Rock Admits When He First Wanted To Become An Actor

The Rock Admits When He First Wanted To Become An Actor

The Rock has been involved in a lot of big movies over the years, and that love of acting has helped him take over Hollywood. A lot of fans might like to know what helped The Rock make that big leap into acting, and it had to come from somewhere.

In a video on Instagram, The Rock spoke out the spark that made him want to get into acting. He was happy to answer this question, and he admitted that, “Yes, I always dreamed of being an actor—but along the way, I picked up a lot of other dreams and goals while navigating life’s twists and turns. Some made sense, some didn’t, and some still make me laugh when I think about them.”

He also wished everyone a happy Sunday in the video post in the caption. He answered this question by telling a story about how he first felt the longing to jump in front of a camera.

“The question is whether I always wanted to be an actor, and it’s a cool full circle story. The answer to this is yes. When I was 8-years-old, we were living in Charlotte, North Carolina and Raiders of the Lost Ark had come out and I was super pumped for that movie, like a lot of you were.”

“I’m there in the theater opening weekend, it’s sold out, I’m in the front row. I remember seeing Indiana Jones and saying ‘I wanna do that.’ He was cool with the whip and good with the ladies, he kicked ass. I was an 8-year-old bit by the idea of acting. I had no connection to that in Charlotte, my parents had no connection to Hollywood. Years later, coming up, I wanted to in college, work for the CIA, I had a great criminal law professor and he said ‘Look, you’ve got a look a lot of potential, I know some folks and work for the CIA, but if you want to become an asset go get your law degree.’ I remember telling him, ‘Doc, I understand where you’re going with this because my study habits suck.’

“That dream went away and went bye-bye and then I had a shot to play professional football, I played in the CFL, I never made it to the NFL. So, that didn’t happen, and I went on to be a professional wrestler and the rest is history. I got my first acting role as the Scorpion King on the Mummy Returns. That experience blew me away, and I fell in love with acting. I love acting and story telling. I love actors, our community. So, yeah, long story short, I did want to be an actor since I was 8-years-old, but I went through so many versions of life.”

The Rock has been involved in some amazing films over the years, and his name has brought in a ton of money in the process. He has taken a liking to fame and his Seven Bucks Productions is far from raking in big bucks with blockbusters.

The Rock is also involved in WrestleMania 41’s build, because he was the one who told John Cena to turn on Cody Rhodes. Now, Cena will take on The American Nightmare at the showcase of the immortals. It will be interesting to see how The Rock plays into things.

Braun Strowman Belts Out Impressive Creed Cover In Karaoke Video

Braun Strowman Belts Out Impressive Creed Cover In Karaoke Video

Braun Strowman is a man of many talents, and one of them happens to be musical. The Monster Among Monsters is ready for whatever happens at WrestleMania, and in the meantime, he’s still going to cut loose from time to time.

The former Universal Champion logged onto social media where he shared a video of himself belting out a song. That tune may be controversial, depending on where you stand on the conversation about Creed’s legacy in rock music.

Braun Strowman belted out the lyrics to Creed’s “One Last Breath” just like Scott Stapp himself. It was impressive, and it’s also no wonder why he posted this clip to flex a bit on Instagram.

The Monster Among Monsters loves to cut loose when he’s not smashing opponents in the squared circle. This also proves that he can also be quite a party animal. He did all Creed fans proud with this cover in karaoke form.

Strowman has a lot going on, and he even teased a new food themed show. We will have to see what Braun Strowman does in the ring next. At this point, he has a lot of gas left in the tank. He can also pick up the microphone for more than just an intimidating promo. You can check out the clip on Strowman’s Instagram to see proof of his singing abilities.

Charlotte Flair Snaps and Attacks Tiffany Stratton After Being Sent Home From SmackDown

Charlotte Flair Snaps and Attacks Tiffany Stratton After Being Sent Home From SmackDown

Charlotte Flair made sure the drama didn’t wait for WrestleMania—because she straight-up lost it on Tiffany Stratton just moments after WWE supposedly sent her packing.

During the April 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, announcer Joe Tessitore revealed that “Charlotte Flair was sent home for the week” following a pre-show parking lot attack on Stratton. But “home” wasn’t exactly where Flair ended up—because just hours later, she was back at it, throwing fists and chaos at ringside.

Earlier in the night, Tiffany Stratton picked up a clean win over Roxanne Perez after landing her signature moonsault. But her celebration didn’t last long. Flair stormed out post-match and dragged Stratton out of the ring before unloading a brutal beatdown at ringside. She hurled Stratton over the announce table as Wade Barrett tried (and failed) to stop the madness. Flair then climbed on top of the announce table like she owned the place and just stared the crowd down—no remorse, no apologies.

This was the second physical altercation between the two in a single night. Let’s not forget, Charlotte already attacked Stratton in the parking lot before the show even aired. Whatever message WWE tried sending by sending her “home” clearly didn’t land.

Tensions between the two are already white-hot heading into WrestleMania 41 next weekend, where they’ll battle for the WWE Women’s Championship. But with Flair going completely off-script and ignoring management’s directives, it’s clear things have reached a personal breaking point.

Is Charlotte Flair spiraling out of control—or is this exactly the kind of fire she needs to dethrone Stratton at WrestleMania? Drop your thoughts and predictions in the comments below—we want to hear everything.

Cody Rhodes Mentions Brock Lesnar During 4/11 WWE SmackDown Promo

Cody Rhodes Mentions Brock Lesnar During 4/11 WWE SmackDown Promo

The April 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. With the road to WrestleMania 41 in full swing, it’s anyone’s guess what they will do to hype the show of shows, especially when it comes to Cody Rhodes’ match.

Cody Rhodes is set to defend the Undisputed World Title against John Cena at WrestleMania. Cena won the 2025 Royal Rumble match, and then he turned heel in the process to kick up the drama a notch.

Cody Rhodes made his way out to the ring as the second hour of the show started. They had titles from WWE history all set up in the ring to accept how important this match at WrestleMania 41 will be for John Cena and Cody Rhodes.

After taking some time to hype fans, Cody Rhodes got down to business. When Cody mentioned John Cena, Seattle fans had a mixed reaction to say the least. He said that Cena is trying to tear down the legacy of the company and whatever they have to come with the next twenty champions.

Fans booed when Cody Rhodes said that John Cena decided not to be in Seattle for SmackDown. Then Cody brought up how John said his tattoo makes him a common fan. Rhodes didn’t see anything wrong with that, because he wants to be somebody, which is also why he wears such nice suits to the ring.

Cody Rhodes then said he does his best fighting when he’s backed into a corner. Rhodes said that this was what he told Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. He will also Cena his moment to say goodbye. Cena knows that his time is up, but until Cody Rhodes’ time is up, he will remain champion. Cody raised his title up and said that the title will stay with him.
