Fans Keep Toilet Paper Trend Going at Ricochet During AEW Dynamite Christmas Taping

Fans Keep Toilet Paper Trend Going at Ricochet During AEW Dynamite Christmas Taping

AEW fans are making their feelings about Ricochet crystal clear, and they’re not holding back—literally. During the December 25 AEW Dynamite tapings, Ricochet once again found himself on the receiving end of flying rolls of toilet paper as he made his way to the ring for a match against Darby Allin.

This isn’t the first time the Hammerstein Ballroom crowd gave Ricochet a rough reception. Just days earlier, at the December 21 episode of AEW Collision, fans pelted him with TP before his match against Will Ospreay in the Continental Classic tournament. While Ricochet managed to win that match, his treatment by fans was anything but welcoming.

At the Dynamite tapings, the reaction escalated, with an even heavier bombardment of toilet paper rolls. Ricochet, clearly unimpressed, grabbed one of the rolls and hurled it back into the crowd—a move that only seemed to fuel the fans’ rowdy energy.

The audience’s hostility toward Ricochet seems to be turning him into a natural heel for AEW. Whether this crowd reaction will lead to bigger booking opportunities for The One and Only remains to be seen, but he’s certainly not lacking in attention.

What do you think of Ricochet’s unique reception in AEW? Is this the start of a major heel run, or do you think the fans are being too harsh? Share your thoughts and let us know if you think Ricochet can turn this heat into gold!

MJF Mocks Adam Cole & Britt Baker’s Breakup During 12/21 AEW Collision

MJF Mocks Adam Cole & Britt Baker's Breakup During 12/21 AEW Collision

AEW is preparing for Worlds End on December 28 at Orlando, Florida’s Addition Financial Arena. Adam Cole will finally get his hands on MJF, and they had a lot to say to each other during the December 21 episode of AEW Collision.

During the second segment of the show, MJF and Adam Cole had their face-to-face. MJF got the microphone first, and he made a point about how breakable Adam Cole is. That fragility doesn’t just limit Cole’s actions in the ring, because he needs to find a new dentist too.

The Salt of the Earth made a point to say that any bump, a gust of wind, or even a cavity could take Adam Cole down. Then he said that the rumor is that his dentist isn’t seeing him anymore. Of course, this was in reference to Adam Cole and Britt Baker’s breakup.

MJF went on to say that Adam Cole is looking more like a “crack bay-bay” in recent memory, which took a shot at how Cole has lost some weight. At that point, Cole came back at MJF, but he refrained from taking any personal shots. In the process, he called MJF out for getting two surgeries on his head of hair and also pulling political strings to get his girl, Alicia Atout, hired by AEW.

This was a very personal shot for MJF to take on Adam Cole, but it’s also par for the course. MJF has been known to take pot shots whenever he can.

This situation is very interesting, because Britt Baker was actually suspended after a backstage confrontation with MJF over Alicia Atout. MJF also put his fist through a wall over that interaction, just before his hour-long match against Will Ospreay on the July 17th episode of Dynamite. Obviously, there is a lot to unpack in this feud, and only time will tell if things are settled at Worlds End.

AEW Fans Pelt Ricochet With Toilet Paper During 12/21 Collision

AEW Fans Pelt Ricochet With Toilet Paper During 12/21 Collision

AEW brought the December 21 episode of Collision to the famous Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Those pro wrestling fans are very passionate, and they are also very inventive.

During the opening Continental Classic match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet, fans were pumped to see that singles contest go down. Some fans also showed up, prepared for that match, and they knew exactly what to do.

Throwing ribbons is a sign of respect in pro wrestling for fans in Japan, and Will Ospreay saw a few streamers thrown in the ring during his entrance. Then, fans displayed their appreciation for Ricochet in a much different fashion.

When Ricochet got in the ring, fans threw toilet paper at him instead. This was not expected, and it also hit Will Ospreay in a hilarious way. Ospreay laughed so hard that he had to roll out of the ring, and then he appeared to bow to the fans’ inventive way of greeting the former WWE Speed Champion.

Ricochet didn’t seem to appreciate this, as he heaved a roll back into the crowd. Then he used it later on in his offense against Will Ospreay.

We will have to see how many more matches Will Ospreay and Ricochet have in AEW, but Christmas Collision was certainly a night that nobody will soon forget. It also appears that some toilet paper might have come up missing in the Hammerstein Ballroom bathrooms.

Ethan Page Destroys Je’Von Evans in Sneak Attack During 12/17 WWE NXT

Ethan Page Destroys Je'Von Evans in Sneak Attack During 12/17 WWE NXT

Ethan Page entered WWE’s NXT brand after departing from AEW, and he didn’t waste much time before he was NXT Champion. All good things had to end for All Ego, and he is trying to cause a stir however he can now.

The December 17 episode went down at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, and they had a couple title matches. Ethan Page wasn’t booked for a match, but he still had a big impact to make on the show.

Ethan Page has been a bit frustrated as of late. He has not regained the NXT Title after his reign as champion, and he failed to win the Iron Survivor Challenge. While many fans may think that All Ego is main roster ready, he may not be finished telling his story in NXT.

Page interrupted the commentary after the NXT Tag Team Title match. He seemed disheartened to be there as he spoke about his journey. All Ego seemed depressed as he spoke about the promise that he made to his daughter. He made history, becoming NXT Champion in such rapid fashion, and he started getting more angry as he spoke about how he kept that promise he made to his daughter.

Ethan Page eventually said that he has lost his smile, which was Shawn Michaels’ classic line from decades ago. Then Je’Von Evans made his way to the ring to speak to Page. Evans said he saw the real Ethan Page at Heatwave after he won the title, because he told his wife that he loved her. Evans said that the joy Page saw in his family, that showed who he really is.

After Je’Von Evasn told Etha Page that they want to see the real him, and the fans cheered for him a big, All Ego said that he should be more worried about taking Je’Von Evans’ smile. Then he clocked him with a microphone.

Ethan Page got a steel chair next, and he put Evans’ heat in it before stomping down. He yelled, “This is the real me!” as NXT officials and the medical staff ran down to check on Evans.

Bron Breakker Hypes Up Crowd at Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Los Angeles Kings NHL Game

Bron Breakker Hypes Up Crowd at Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Los Angeles Kings NHL Game

Bron Breakker knows how to get the WWE Universe barking, and he doesn’t limit that to just the squared circle. The former NXT Champion and current IC Champion recently took in an NHL game, and he also stole the spotlight for a few moments.

The Pittsburgh Penguins took on the Los Angeles Kings on December 17, and it was quite a show for hockey fans. Bron Breakker was also there to add a bit of WWE promos to the game.

Bron Breakker had a chance to grab the microphone to get the fans going in the building. He has a natural ability when it comes to speaking to crowds, and he also represented WWE proudly with the IC Title around his shoulder.

Breakker is coming off a big title defense against Ludwig Kaiser during the December 16 WWE RAW. He also retained his title in a triple threat match against Kaiser and Sheamus at Survivor Series 2024.

Bron Breakker updated his Instagram with a few photos from the game. He had a great view of the ice, and he also got to pose with the Penguins mascot.

We will have to see what is next for Bron Breakker in 2025. His 2024 was certainly a benchmark year for the second generation Superstar, and he’s closing it out as a champion as WWE prepares for their big Netflix move for RAW on January 6.
