Drew McIntyre Speaks His Mind After Netflix Snubs Him In WWE RAW Debut Trailer

Drew McIntyre Speaks His Mind After Netflix Snubs Him In WWE RAW Debut Trailer

WWE’s blockbuster Netflix deal is coming at fans fast, and the company is on a promotional blitz. That also includes Superstars plugging the move, and Drew McIntyre had a lot to say.

WWE Raw moves to Netflix on January 6, and a new trailer highlights stars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, and even Becky Lynch. One notable absence from the trailer is Drew McIntyre, and he’s not especially thrilled about the snub.

Despite briefly winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40, winning Money in the Bank, injuring CM Punk, and defeating him at SummerSlam, McIntyre was not featured in the RAW promo. He posted a video on X to make it clear that he’s not upset and plans to step up even more in 2025.

McIntyre was posted up at home in this video as he did a watch along for the first Netflix trailer for RAW’s debut. When Drew noticed that he wasn’t included, he addressed it in his own way.

“It’s all good, maybe I don’t look enough like a Superstar. Maybe my 2024 just wasn’t successful enough [flashes a graphic on screen of his 2024 accomplishments]. It’s all good. You don’t have to hand me anything. What I want, I’ll take. I’ll see them on social media, they’re crying about it, and then they’re whining on the mic and I’ll crush them there. Then inevitably they’ll try to fight me, but I’m six-foot-five, 280 pounds, and I’ll crush them there, too. So, I guess we’ll have to step up in 2025, and that’s exactly what we’ll do. So, until then, happy new year, everybody.”

WWE has a ton of things planned for their big Netflix debut. They are also booking WrestleMania quality matches, that they actually considered for the show of shows, for their massive Netflix premiere.

Only time will tell what role Drew McIntyre plays in RAW’s first episode of Netflix. He will likely be around, and he doesn’t seem that he will be playing nice at all.
