Blake Monroe just turned her beach day into a message—and it was aimed straight at Sol Ruca.

The new NXT Women’s North American Champion posted a photo on November 1, 2025, showing herself lying in a white bikini on a secluded beach, with her freshly-won championship belt placed across her waist. Monroe kept the caption short, tagging her rival directly with a subtle but smug jab:

“wish u were here 🙂 @SolRucaWWE”

The shot says everything. Monroe made it clear she’s living her best life—and she wants Sol Ruca to know it.

This all comes after Monroe snatched the title at Halloween Havoc, a match Ruca was originally supposed to compete in before an injury sidelined her. Zaria stepped in to defend the title on Ruca’s behalf, but Monroe walked away with the gold—and she hasn’t stopped reminding everyone since.

Monroe’s beach flex is pure salt in the wound. She didn’t need a promo or a speech. Just a white bikini, the belt, and the sun.

WWE’s NXT brand has a ton of talent, and many people on the roster may just be waiting for a call-up. Blake Monroe is no stranger to the spotlight, and she showed up during this week’s SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown went down at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on October 17. During the first hour of the night, a very popular NXT star showed up to get a closer look on a certain match.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss faced ZARIA and Sol Ruca this week on SmackDown. The two teams had quite a match, and they also drew a bit of extra attention.

Later on in the match, Blake Monroe provided some distraction for Sol Ruca on the outside of the ring. Then she cheered on as Charlotte Flair made Ruca tap out to a Figure 8.

Blake Monroe was spotted at ringside, and she had her attention set on the NXT side of that match. After all, Monroe will face Sol Ruca for her NXT Women’s North American Championship at Halloween Havoc on October 25.

Of course, Blake Monroe was known as Mariah May in AEW and on the indies prior to that. She showed up in NXT after her AEW contract came to an end, and the sky seems to be the limit for her at this point.

We will have to see how much longer Blake Monroe takes to get to the WWE main roster. It’s hard to argue that she doesn’t draw attention to herself, no matter how big of a spotlight is on her.

WWE NXT star Blake Monroe is stirring things up before her big showdown on tonight’s October 14 episode of NXT.

In a not-so-subtle post on X/Twitter, Monroe shared a provocative backstage photo dressed in her ring gear—fiery red with fishnet tights and thigh straps—posing confidently with a mischievous smirk while looking over her shoulder.

To caption the image, Monroe leaned into her on-screen persona and ongoing feud with Zaria and Sol Ruca: “how to be a homewrecker ❤️‍🔥 – @wwenxt 8/7c on @thecw”

Monroe and Zaria are set to collide on tonight’s episode, with the storyline heavily focused on Monroe’s attempts to sabotage the relationship between Zaria and Sol Ruca. This brewing drama has given Monroe a chance to show off her character work on social media as she continues to turn heads both inside and outside the ring.

The rest of tonight’s NXT card features some serious action. A 20-woman Battle Royal will determine the next challenger for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship, featuring stars from both NXT and TNA. Matt Cardona also returns to WWE action for the first time since 2020 as he battles Josh Briggs. Meanwhile, Lexis King will face AAA’s El Hijo de Dr. Wagner after an intense backstage encounter involving mistaken identity.

NXT airs live from the WWE Performance Center at 8 PM ET on The CW, with international fans able to catch the action on Netflix. As always, Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE NXT coverage hub.
