Tyler Bate captured the NXT United Kingdom Championship at the age of 19. The Big Strong Boi was also the last person to hold the title before it got merged with the NXT Championship. Tonight, he made his in-ring return to NXT.

Tyler Bate interrupted Javier Bernal’s concert during NXT tonight. Big Body Javy tried to convince McKenzie Mitchel, Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria to listen to his latest song earlier during the show.

Tyler Bate and Javier Bernal put on a short but fun match for the WWE Universe. Big Body Javy showed great momentum but fell to the tremendous strength of the former NXT UK Champion.

WWE hyped up Tyler Bate’s return to NXT during New Year’s Evil last Tuesday. The vignette showed Tyler walking past flashes of his accomplishments in WWE, and ended with him announcing his return to NXT next week.

Tyler Bate’s last match before tonight transpired on the September 14, 2022, episode of NXT. Bate squared off and lost to JD McDonagh in a number one contender’s match for the NXT Championship.

Jay Briscoe was involved in a horrific car accident on Tuesday evening. Sadly, the tag team icon couldn’t survive the crash. He was 38 years of age at the time of his untimely passing.

The news of Jay Briscoe’s passing was first shared by Tony Khan on social media. The AEW and ROH owner paid tribute to Jay in a heartfelt post. Khan also pledged his support for the Briscoe family in this time of grief.

WWE announced the news of Jay Briscoe’s passing on NXT tonight. Vic Joseph noted that the wrestling world witnessed a terrible loss. He offered his condolences to the Briscoe family as well.

The ROH Hall of Famer died in a fatal car collision in Laurel on Tuesday evening, according to Delaware State Police. The department didn’t reveal any names at the time of the report.

Bobby Lashley earned the right to challenge Theory for the United States Championship by winning a six-pack elimination match. The Almighty eliminated Seth Rollins in the closing moments of the match for the win.

Both the challenger and the champion shared their thoughts on the upcoming bout during an interview with WWE Digital Exclusive. Lashley praised Theory for finally finding his footing.

The champion, on the other hand, had some strong words for the challenger. Theory said Lashley did beat five of the top guys on the roster but he won’t able to keep his jealousy of Theory in check.

The January 16, 2023, edition of RAW featured a segment between Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair. The E.S.T. called out Alexa to face her for what she did to her on the January 2, 2023 episode of RAW.

Alexa arrived and cut a promo on Bianca. The champion asked Alexa why don’t she face her for the title at the Royal Rumble instead of getting the opportunity by winning the women’s rumble match.

Alexa accepted but Bianca wasn’t done. The two women brawled all the way into the crowd. The E.S.T. set up chairs for the KOD but stopped midway when she saw Uncle Howdy in front of her.

The distraction allowed Alexa Bliss to recover from the beat down and hit Bianca Belair with a DDT on the concrete floor. It remains to be seen if Uncle Howdy will assist Alexa at the Royal Rumble.

The company, surprisingly, didn’t drop WWE superstar The Big Show from the classic promo. Paul Wight was one of the highlights of the promo that was filmed as a promotional material for WrestleMania 21.

WWE aired another video package for Cody Rhodes. the vignette showcased his incredible journey through rehab. The clip ends with the ultimate reveal that Cody Rhodes will return at the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE.

Seth Rollins is arguably the most consistent performer on the WWE roster today. The Visionary never fails to amaze fans and peers alike with his incredible story-telling abilities inside the squared circle. His theme song is quite popular among the WWE Universe as well.

For those who are used to watching Seth Rollins on Monday Night RAW, they know just how over The Messiah is with the fans. The WWE Universe singing his song has become a recurring sight on Mondays. Recently, a fan took things up a notch when he had Rollins’ theme play at his wedding.

The superfan tagged Rollins in a video, which showed him making his way out to to The Visionary’s current theme song. The Architect of the Shield retweeted the clip and even posted a comment.

“That is 🦇💩 crazy and I love it.”

Seth Rollins feels like main eventing WrestleMania this year as well. The Visionary has been part of WrestleMania history and delivered one of the most iconic moments in the event’s history, when he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract in the main event of WrestleMania 31 featuring Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

It remains to be seen if Seth Rollins will wrestle in the main event of WrestleMania 39. For now, he’s focused on winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match in San Antonio, Texas, on January 28, 2023.
