Darby Allin Wins TNT Title During AEW Dynamite

Darby Allin is one of the most popular stars on the AEW roster today. Allin never shies away from putting his body through extreme pain to take out his opponents. Tonight, he won a huge match in his hometown of Seattle.

Darby Allin took on Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship in the main event of AEW Dynamite this week. Allin kicked off things hot by performing a suicide dive on Joe. He even performed a leap from the ladder onto the champion.

The closing moments of the match saw Darby Allin perform back-to-back Coffin Drops on The Samoan Submission Machine. He picked up the win to a huge pop from his hometown crowd in Seattle.

Sting came to the ring and picked up the new champion for a huge hug. The teacher and student then celebrated in the ring as Wednesday Night Dynamite went off the air.

Tag Team Title Match & More Added To AEW Battle Of The Belts V

AEW will return to Portland, Oregon, for Battle of the Belts V this Friday. The company announced new matches for the television special during Wednesday Night Dynamite.

AEW announced that The Acclaimed will defend their World Tag Team Championship against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a “No Holds Barred Match” at Battle of the Belts V.

The match was booked following the controversial events during Dynamite tonight. Double J and Lethal cheated to win the match, but referee Aubrey Edwards told the math official to restart the match.

Jade Cargill will defend the TBS Championship against Skye Blue as well. BOTB V will air at 11 PM EST on Friday, January 6th, live after Rampage. Check out the card below:

Saraya made her AEW debut during Dynamite Grand Slam and immediately entered into a feud with Britt Baker. Saraya gained new friends in Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida as well. Tonight, she finally revealed her mystery tag partner.

Saraya, Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida sat down with Renee Paquette for an interview during Dynamite this week. Saraya said AEW had the best wrestlers in the world, noting that she was sitting next to the best wrestler in the world.

The veteran then picked Toni Storm as her partner against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. Her decision came as a huge surprise to both Renee and Shida, who was visibly devastated.

Saraya and Toni Storm entered into a conversation while completely ignoring Hikaru Shida. The two will team up against the D.M.D. and Hayter next week on AEW Dynamite.

Bryan Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world today. The American Dragon walks to the ring every week with a single thought and that is to kick their head in. Danielson intends to expose MJF as well.

Bryan Danielson squared off against Tony Nese during Dynamite tonight. The American Dragon got the win over his opponent. He told the crowd he still wanted to have another fight.

MJF showed up and the two engaged in a war of words. The Devil Himself told Danielson to earn the number one contender’s spot by winning every match till February 8, 2023.

The American Dragon accepted the stipulation with a stipulation of his own. Danielson said he’ll go through every opponent every week till Feb. 8th and then face MJF for the AEW World Championship in a one-hour Iron Man Match at Revolution.

Adam Page Still Waiting For Medical Clearance

Adam Page has been wanting to get a one-on-one rematch against Jon Moxley for months. After all, it was Mox who sent the Hangman to the hospital with a concussion during a previous episode of Dynamite.

Adam Page appeared on Dynamite tonight to provide an update on his status. The Hangman told Tony Schiavone that he still isn’t medically cleared for an in-ring return.

“As of tonight, I’m not medically cleared to compete.”

The Hangman, however, asked the doctor standing ringside that he still has one week to make a full recovery and won’t stop till he gets his hands on Moxley at the Kia Forum next week.

Jon Moxley arrived and the two got into a war of words. Mox told Page he’ll make sure to finish the business the next time they meet one-on-one inside the ring. Check out the full segment here:
