Ricky Starks Wins Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale

AEW brought back the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale on their flagship show this week. The company determined a new winner in the multi-man elimination matchup.

The latest Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale featured participants including Ethan Page, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage, and Dalton Castle. Dustin Rhodes returned to participate in the match as well.

Ricky Starks and Ethan Page survived others to become the final two participants in the match. The Absolute One bested All Ego to become the last man standing inside the ring.

MJF arrived and cut a promo on Starks, promising to become a four-time holder of the $150,000 Dynamite Diamond Ring. The AEW World Champion used The Rock’s iconic catchphrase to insult Starks as well.

MJF and Ricky Starks will collide for the AEW World Championship at the Winter is Coming TV special next Wednesday on Dynamite. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.

MJF Uses The Rock’s Iconic Catchphrase To Slam Ricky Starks During AEW Dynamite

MJF knows how to keep fans glued to their screens with his incredible mic work. The AEW World Champion appeared during Dynamite this week and brought a whole lot of new insults with him.

MJF appeared in the ring to confront Ricky Starks following his win in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale. The Devil Himself used The Rock’s iconic catchphrase to insult The Absolute One.

“You’re a roody poo candy a**.”

MJF also referred to Ricky Starks as a “pebble,” saying he he would skip his a** all the way back to Billy Corgan’s NWA. Starks, of course, came up with a response as well.

“I’m slapping that mole off your neck, I’m stomping an a**hole into you, and I’m taking that title.”

MJF and Ricky Starks will collide for the AEW World Championship at the Winter Is Coming TV special next week. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from Wednesday Night Dynamite.

Dustin Rhodes surprised fans and peers alike by announcing that 2023 will be his last year in pro wrestling. The Natural returned to AEW in-ring competition during Dynamite this week.

Dustin Rhodes made his in-ring return during the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale on AEW’s flagship show this week. The Natural joined several other performers in their quest to win the $150,000 ring.

Dustin Rhodes hit Kip Sabian with a Canadian Destroyer during the multi-man elimination matchup as well, using the momentum to eliminate Sabian. Dustin Rhodes himself, however, was eliminated by The Butcher.

Dustin Rhodes announced during Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl event on December 3rd that 2023 will be the last year he will wrestle. He revealed he also doesn’t want to end up like Ric Flair in his retirement match.

Kenta Calls Out CM Punk Over GTS Again

Kenta had a forgettable stint in WWE, where he used to wrestle under the ring name Hideo Itami. The former GHC Heavyweight Champion joined New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2019 and the rest was history.

Kenta recently took a shot at CM Punk once again. The 41-year-old wrestle Mike Bailey at a REVOLVER show in Iowa. Lil’K hit the Speedball with a GTS during the match as well. For those not in the know, Kenta is the innovator of the deadly move, as well as the Busaiku Knee Kick.

Kenta cut a promo in Japanese backstage after the match and namedropped CM Punk. The GTS specialist thrashed the former AEW World Champion, saying Go to Sleep is “my move.”
