The Elite may have returned to AEW, but that doesn’t mean they have forgotten the person who put them out of action in the first place. Tonight, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks took a major shot at the man they brawled with at All Out, CM Punk.

The Elite squared off against Death Triangle in the second match of their Best of 7 Series in Punk’s hometown of Chicago during Dynamite this week. The former AEW World Trios Tag Team Champions entered the Wintrust Arena to a strong reaction from the pro-Punk crowd.

The Elite showed heel antics throughout their match. Matt Jackson even recreated CM Punk’s botched Buckshot Lariat from Double or Nothing during the match and got a nuclear reaction from the crowd. Kenny Omega trolled the crowd by hitting a GTS on PAC during the closing moments of the match.

Despite their tremendous heel work and a lot of offense, The Elite failed to defeat PAC and The Lucha Brothers. The two teams will square off once again next week on Dynamite in Indianapolis, IN.

Red Velvet reunited with The Baddies during Dynamite this week. Jade Cargill and The Baddies cut a promo on Cargill’s victory over Nyla Rose last Saturday at Full Gear.

The Baddies said they’d celebrate Cargill’s undefeated streak next Wednesday on Dynamite. Mark Sterling arrived and told Kiera Hogan she was no longer a member of the group.

AEW had confirmed Red Velvet’s injury during a previous episode of Dynamite. Stokely Hathaway recruited Leila Grey as a replacement for Velvet. Check out The Baddies promo here:

Jade Cargill formed The Baddies even though she never needed the group in the first place. Tonight, the AEW TBS Champion fired a member of the group in a shocking development on Dynamite.

Jade Cargill and The Baddies were on Dynamite tonight. Cargill cut a promo on her recent confrontation with Bow Wow. The AEW TBS Champion said the rapper didn’t deserve any mention on AEW TV.

Jade Cargill brought our her lawyer Mark Sterling, who said Cargill’s official statement on the whole incident was “no comment.” Sterling then drop a bombshell on Kiera Hogan, telling her she was out of The Baddies.

Sterling informed Hogan she failed to live up to her responsibilities as a Baddie. It remains to be seen what’s next in store for Kiera Hogan after her shocking ouster from The Baddies.

Chicago Fans Yell CM Punk Chants At The Elite During AEW Dynamite

The Elite returned to AEW at the Full Gear pay-per-view event this past Saturday, and were welcomed with anti-CM Punk chants. Tonight, Kenny Omega and The Young wrestled in Punk’s hometown of Chicago and got a completely different reaction.

The Elite took on Death Triangle in the second match for their Best of 7 Series for the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship during Dynamite tonight. The trio entered the arena to pro-CM Punk chants and a lot of boos. The Chicago crowd yelled “f*ck The Elite” chants at the challengers as well.

The Chicago crowd showed a lot of love to the defending champions Death Triangle during the match as well. Fans yelled “same old sh*t” at The Elite’s moves. Kenny Omega took things up a notch when he pulled out a GTS from CM Punk’s playbook on PAC.

The Young Bucks knew they were heading into hostile territory tonight on Dynamite and referred to that in their Twitter bio. “Chicago. This’ll be interesting,” The Bucks commented on their Chicago trip.

The House of Black were last together at the All Out pay-per-view event on September 4, 2022. The group disappeared after Malakai Black took a hiatus from the promotion to focus on his mental health. Tonight, the group finally returned to AEW.

Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King returned to AEW during the November 23, 2022 edition of Dynamite. The House of Black made their presence known during Best Friends’ segment with The Factory. The lights went dark and Julia Hart was shown on the stage.

The lights went dark again and Black, Matthews and King appeared on the ring apron. The House of Black then targeted everybody in sight. The Factory members quickly dispersed from the ring as the trio destroyed rest of the people in their path.
