Swerve Strickland destroyed Billy Gunn’s fingers with a pair of pliers and that didn’t sit well with Keith Lee. Tonight, the big man finally had enough of his partner’s extremely sadistic behavior and left him in the middle of the ring.

Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) took on The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) in a rematch for the AEW World Tag Team Championship during Full Gear tonight.

At one point during the match, Swerve got his hands on a pair of pliers and attempted to destroy Caster’s fingers with it, prompting a huge save from Billy Gunn. Strickland then got inside the ring and handed the pliers to Keith Lee.

Swerve asked Lee to use the pliers on Bowens. The big man responded by throwing the pliers away. He even helped Bowens stand on his feet, to the shock of Strickland. Lee then walked out on his partner.

Jamie Hayter failed to beat Toni Storm for the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship in a fatal four-way match that also involved Dr. Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida at All Out. Tonight, she finally got the biggest win of her career.

Toni Storm put her AEW Interim Women’s World Championship on the line against Jamie Hayter during the Full Gear pay-per-view event tonight. The crowd in attendance was pro-Hayter and she got a huge pop during her entrance.

Both the champion and the challenger put up a great fight. The match contained plenty of false finishes and near falls. Storm showed incredible resilience as she kicked out of multiple moves.

The closing moments of the match saw Toni Storm throw Hayter into the turnbuckle. Hayter reversed Storm’s momentum by throwing her into the exposed part of the turnbuckle. Hayter won the match with a huge lariat.

Jade Cargill put her TBS Championship on the line against Nyla Rose during Full Gear tonight. The AEW star pulled on an insane ThunderCats cosplay for her match against Nyla Rose.

Nyla Rose got her custom entrance as well. The challenger arrived in style alongside Marina Shafir and Vickie Guerrero, who paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero with an “I’m Your Papi” shirt.

AEW paid tribute to Guerrero in a major way ahead of Jade Cargill’s TBS Championship defense against Nyla Rose. The challenger entered the ring sat in a low-rider, with Vickie Guerrero beside her, clad in an “I’m Your Papi” shirt.

Making her entrance in style, it’s the #NativeBeast, and self-proclaimed TBS Champion @NylaRoseBeast, accompanied by @VickieGuerrero and @MarinaShafir!

The entrance was a huge tribute to Eddie Guerrero, who used to arrive to the ring in a custom low-rider. Eddie also used to wear I’m Your Papi shirt during his time in the WWE.

This isn’t the first time AEW had paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero. Stars such as Santana and Ortiz regularly pay tribute to the pro wrestling great, who inspired so many to take up pro wrestling.

The Best Friends, Orange Cassidy and Rocky Romero had promised to bring a mysterious tag partner to AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour, and they fulfilled their promise by revealing their fifth pick, Danhausen, who debuted a new gimmick during the pre-show tonight.

Danhausen debuted his latest gimmick tonight at Full Gear: Zero Hour. The AEW star entered the ring to a new entrance. The whole presentation gave a serious vibe to Danhausen’s otherwise jolly gimmick.

Danhausen won the match for his team as well. The AEW star hit The Factory’s Nick with a kick following an Orange Punch from Orange Cassidy. The winning team then celebrated inside the ring.

Danhausen had teased the new gimmick on social media. He had posted a picture of himself with the caption, “Say the word and I will tear the flesh from those who harm you. #AEWFullGear.”

CM Punk went ballistic during the post-All Out press conference and that led to a brawl with The Elite backstage. Tony Khan responded by stripping Punk of the AEW World Championship. It appears that Punk’s days in the company are completely over.

AEW dropped the latest cover art for their upcoming “Fight Forever” video game. The new cover art features both Adam Page and Kenny Omega, who Punk publicly dissed during the scrum. The Second City isn’t on the cover of the video game, leading to speculations that he may be gone from the company.

Punk hasn’t appeared on AEW TV since All Out. The Chicago native has been nursing a triceps injury he suffered during the PPV event as well. That being said, Punk was pulling off commentary for Cage Fury Fighting Championship last night, and referenced his All Out brawl.

Akiyama got the win for his team with an exploder on Ortiz. AEW dropped a clip on their social media after the show went off the air. In the clip, Kingston can be seen calling out Tony Khan and demanding a singles match against the puroresu icon.

The AEW President responded by granting Kingston his singles match against Akiyama. The two will met one-on-one at the AEW Full Gear pre-show live on Saturday night.
