The Hardys Challenged For One More Match With Team 3D After TNA Tag Team Title Win At Slammiversary

TNA’s Slammiversary 2025 brought the action to Elmont, New York, lighting up the UBS Arena with a fantastic event. Each match had a lot of action, but the TNA World Tag Team Title match was certainly attention-grabbing.

One of the standout matches of the night was the Ladder War for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. The Nemeths put their gold on the line against The Hardys, The Rascalz, and First Class.

This match marked Matt Hardy’s 33rd ladder match and Jeff Hardy’s 39th. They were out to prove that their time in the limelight is nowhere near finished, but they had a war in front of them.

This match was a fast-paced high-spot heavy contest. Ladders were involved as they were placed all over the ring. It was also a match that had fans in New York on the edge of their seats, and chanting heavily for as well.

Although the stars in the ring destroyed each other with chair shots and ladders, fans chanted for tables as they continued. AJ Francis was also able to shock fans a few times as he used his power and size advantage with some big moves, but it eventually ended with First Class taking a bump over the ropes through tables that were propped up at ringside.

A rope ladder fell from the ceiling and the Nemeths and Hardys starting fighting over who would climb up it. They didn’t bring any ladders in, as the rope ladder was all they needed. Finally, Jeff Hardy climbed up to retrieve the titles and reclaim the TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Titles.

After their match, Bubba Ray Dudley came out to congratulate the Hardys in a great moment at Slammiversary. After a short promo, the stage was set for Bound for Glory on October 12 for Team 3D and the Hardys to have one more match. Fans chanted, “where is D-Von” after that, and Bubba said that is a great point and a great question. Regardless, we will hear “GET THE TABLES” one last time at Bound for Glory.

This was quite a violent war, and you never know what may happen next. After all, TNA Wrestling is gaining a big reputation of putting out a quality product.

Thanks to WWE and TNA Wrestling’s new partnership, AJ Styles was able to show up at Slammiversary. Of course, this was a big appearance that many TNA diehards were hoping to see for a long time.

After Leon Slater made history as the youngest X-Division Champion, the arena lit up with AJ Styles’ old TNA music. Then the Phenomenal One made his way out. Fans sang his song as Styles hugged Slater in the center of the ring.

AJ Styles asked TNA Wrestling if they missed him, and he received a massive “welcome back” chant. Styles said that some said he couldn’t come back, and fans booed that. He then said that the lights are brighter now, the crowd is louder, and the talent is better than it’s ever been.

TNA’s Slammiversary 2025 brought the action to Elmont, New York, lighting up the UBS Arena with a big event. The X-Division Title stole the spotlight, and they left everything on the table.

Moose defended his TNA X-Division Title against Leon Slater. This was quite a match, and it gave both men a chance to really show off.

Leon Slater wanted to become the youngest X-Division Champion of all time. Naturally, Moose was there to dominate and stop that history from being made in New York that night. They had a record-setting crowd to wrestle in front of as well, so this match had even more at stake.

Moose’s plan was to use his undeniable power advantage over Leon Slater, and he did just that early on in the match. Fans were behind Slater, but he had quite an uphill battle ahead of him.

Leon Slater was able to utilize some good counters to get control of the match, but it didn’t last long. Slater returned fire with a high risk dive to get fans even more behind him. Even after a pop-up powerbomb, Slater kicked out. Fans chanted “This is Awesome” after that.

This match continued with Leon Slater staying in the match by throwing whatever he could at Moose. Slater kicked out of a spear from Moose, and that sent everyone into a frenzy as they waited for history. Moose missed a second spear and then Slater nailed a Utopia rack blue thunder bomb before he hit a spear of his own, and then he went up top to hit a swanton 450 for a near fall.

Then, Moose nailed a spear out of midair, but the force of the move sent Slater out of the ring. Moose ran out Slater, but he reversed it into a Code Red. Then Leon Slater put Moose back into the ring, but Moose rolled away. So, Slater hit an even longer Swanton Bomb before he hit a swanton 450 for the win to make history. After the match, Moose put the title around Slater’s waist and congratulated him before leaving.

Moose is a very strong competitor, and he’s also a mainstay in TNA Wrestling at this point. That being said, it was Slater’s night It’s anyone’s guess what will happen next, but Ringside News will be here with all the updates you need.

Jacy Jayne shocked the pro wrestling world when she won the NXT Women’s Title. At Slammiversary, she faced TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slammovich in a winner-take-all battle.

Fatal Influence was alongside Jacy Jayne as she made her way to the ring. Fans were more than ready to see this historic matchup go down. This contest also received a big-match feel, thanks to the ring introductions from McKenzie Mitchell.

This match had a lot on the line, and there were some close calls with near falls and high spots. Fatal Influence was targeted by Masha Slammovich early on with a dive, but they helped Jacy get an advantage, and the match continued from there.

Eventually, Fallon Henley gave the NXT Women’s Title to Jacy Jayne, but the referee took the title away. Then Jacy used the TNA Knockouts Title to level Masha for a two count. Jacy was shocked by this kick out. Then the referee was distracted by the stable as Masha almost got the win. In the melee, the referee was taken out, so they couldn’t count for Masha as she got the pin.

Finally, Masha’s Requiem was blocked and they traded near fall roll-up pins. Then Jayne nailed a Rolling Encore to win the match and become a double champion.

The partnership between TNA Wrestling and WWE has certainly opened up a ton of opportunities. Only time will tell what happens next, but Slammiversary was a great night for both NXT and TNA Wrestling.

TNA Slammiversary 2025 went down at Elmont, New York’s UBS Arena. It was quite a show, and that included a couple of firsts for the company.

Zilla Fatu and Real1, known to WWE fans as Enzo Amore, made their debuts for TNA Wrestling recently, and that was quite a surprise. The former Enzo Amore has teased with the idea of TNA for a while, and he was finally brought in.

During the Countdown to Slammiversary, Steve Maclin, Mance Warner & Jake Something took on Real1, Zilla Fatu & Josh Bishop. That was quite a match that gave everyone a chance to shine in the contest.

This match was a very good addition to the kickoff show, as it immediately followed a tribute to the troops. Fans were also treated to a little promo work from the former Enzo Amore. They were on hand to promote 4th Rope, the new pro wrestling company.

Zilla Fatu, the son of Umaga, also received a nice reception from the fans. Real1 made it clear that Zilla spent 5 years in prison, he has 5 kids, and he’s still in his mid-20s. He is also the Heavyweight Champion of 4th Row. Real1 also put Josh Bishop over, because he looks like Sid from Toy Story. Then he wrapped his promo up by spelling SAWFT.

After a short match, Real1 nailed an Eat DeFeet and won the match. This was thanks to some accidental contact from Mance Warner. It was quite a statement by 4th Row as they beat Team TNA clean.

We will keep a close eye on whatever happens in the future. You never know how much attention TNA Wrestling will get in the future.

WWE’s NXT brand brought a big show on July 15. Fallout from the Great American Bash was thick in the air, and Jordynne Grace wasn’t happy at all.

Kali Armstrong made her debut on NXT as EVOLVE Women’s Champion to take on Karmen Petrovic. This match was a great chance for Armstrong to prove herself. However, Jordynne Grace had other plans.

This non-title match didn’t go very long until Jordynne Grace ran down to attack Kali Armstrong. Then she got in the ring to destroy Karmen Petrovic. She grabbed the microphone and demanded Blake Monroe, but the former Mariah May wasn’t around.

Instead, Blake Monroe appeared on the screen, and while soaking in a bubble bath, The Glamour invited Jordynne Grace to watch her NXT singles debut next week. Grace wasn’t happy at all, so she left in a fury.

Only time will tell how this story pans out. Obviously, Kali Armstrong would have preferred a stronger debut on NXT, but her presence on the show certainly gave Jordynne Grace a platform to vent her frustrations.

CM Punk Punches His Ticket To SummerSlam After #1 Contender Match Win During 7/14 WWE RAW

The July 14 episode of WWE RAW went down in the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama. There is a lot going on in WWE right now, and now we know who will face GUNTHER next.

The match featured CM Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Penta, and Bron Breakker, with each superstar battling for a chance to face GUNTHER. After a hard-fought series of eliminations, the winner secured a title opportunity at SummerSlam.

Bron Breakker and Penta started out the match. Then Breakker beat LA Knight. Finally, Jey Uso came out to finish off the match.

This contest went through a commercial break as we turned to see Uce and Breakker battling. Both of these competitors are second-generation Superstars, so it was special to see them share the ring. Eventually, Bronson Reed showed up to screw Jey Uso over and give Bron Breakker a chance to eliminate him.

CM Punk came out last to face Bron Breakker in the gauntlet match. Punk laid into Breakker and sent him rolling out of the ring to behind the final stage of the contest. This match kept going with the two of them, Punk’s first gauntlet match in 14 years. Bronson Reed tried to get involved, but Punk kicked him off before nailing an elbow drop off the top, which he transitioned into an Anaconda Vice. Suddenly, Reed got in the match and nailed an elbow drop on Punk, but there were no DQs. Then Jey Uso ran down to run Reed off.

Punk stopped a spear to nail a GTS and get the win. Now, CM Punk will go onto SummerSlam to take on GUNTHER.

We will have to see how SummerSlam turns out for GUNTHER. We know who his challenger is, and that is plenty enough to get us pumped for the biggest party of the summer at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3.

Paul Heyman Uses Brock Lesnar’s Old Nickname To Describe Bron Breakker During 7/14 WWE RAW

Paul Heyman Uses Brock Lesnar's Old Nickname To Describe Bron Breakker During 7/14 WWE RAW

The July 14 episode of WWE RAW went down in the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama. With so much going on in WWE right now, GUNTHER is still riding high as champion. That being said, he has a big target on his back.

GUNTHER put Goldberg’s in-ring career to rest at Saturday Night’s Main Event. After that, it was the Ring General’s goal to see what is next for him, and he was on hand for RAW this week to do just that.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his way to the ring during the second half of the show’s second hour. He was in great spirits after beating Goldberg, and it’s easy to see why. Fans applauded his victory over Goldberg as he started his promo, but some still chanted “Goldberg.”

The GUNTHER asked, “Who’s next for the Ring General.” That question will be answered during the main event match as five men will battle in a #1 contender match, Jey Uso, CM Punk, Penta, Bron Breakker, and LA Knight.

That is when Bron Breakker made his way out to have a showdown with GUNTHER. Paul Heyman started a promo, but then GUNTHER interrupted him, because he wasn’t interested in anything he had to say. As GUNTHER went to leave, Bron stood in his way to block him. Heyman then declared that Bron Breakker will run the gauntlet match this week and he will go on to face him at SummerSlam.

Paul Heyman called Bron Breakker “the next big thing,” the same thing he once called Brock Lesnar. He also pointed out that Breakker is a Steiner, so he will beat GUNTHER at SummerSlam. After Heyman said that Breakker will start a long title reign during SummerSlam, they let GUNTHER leave.

We will keep a close eye on GUNTHER’s journey in WWE. At this point, it is going to take a lot to get that title off him. While he isn’t unbeatable, The Ring General is certainly one of the strongest champions that the company has ever seen. If you ask Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker will be an even bigger champion.

What’s your take on GUNTHER’s next steps in WWE? Do you think that the company needs to change the way he’s booked? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
