Stacks Sends Message From Afar as Security Attacks Tony D’Angelo on NXT

You never know what can happen on WWE’s NXT brand. Each week feels like a big show, and the April 29 episode carried over with Stacks’ storyline after he turned on Tony D’Angelo, which was a shocking move for the NXT Universe to witness.

Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo met in a confrontation during the April 29 episode of WWE NXT. The two used to be Family, but this week started the beginning of their real feud.

Their exchange added to ongoing issues within their faction. The outcome of the confrontation was certain to shift future storylines for the Shawn Michaels’ led show.

The Don of NXT came out during the show’s first hour. He had a lot to get off his chest, especially when it came to his former associate. Tony D’Angelo started talking about betrayal, and he admitted he didn’t expect for Stacks to turn on him at Stand & Deliver.

Tony D said he always had Stacks’ back in the school yard and the streets, and he said that Stacks always wanted to lead the family. Stacks had his back during many occasions, when Tony was hurt or locked up. He was the Underboss, but he jeopardized the family. Then Stacks waited until the right moment to finally stab Tony in the back.

He said that Luca isn’t answering calls and Rizzo is in hiding. Then Stacks appeared on the big screen. He was standing on a bridge, and nowhere near the NXT Arena. Security stood around the ring as Stacks said that he was sick of following Tony’s orders.

He said that Tony isn’t capable of leading The Family anymore. He had to take the reins himself and put things into place. Stacks said that Tony doesn’t know who he can trust, as security rushed the ring to attack D’Angelo. The Don of NXT was able to fight off the security members as he threatened Stacks one more time to take his shot at the seat.

Joe Hendry Shows Up on WWE NXT and Ends Up on the Wrong Side of a Beatdown

Say his name, and Joe Hendry will appear. This week’s episode of NXT saw another chance for Hendry to show up when he was invited during the April 29 episode of NXT, and the TNA World Champion took Shawn Michaels up on his offer.

Fans were thrilled to see Hendry show up before NXT this week. It was anyone’s guess what he would get into, but they were guaranteed a treat from the extraordinarily popular TNA wrestler.

Joe Hendry kicked off this week’s episode of NXT. The NXT Universe was more than excited to see him as he cut a promo about his recent WWE accomplishments. He also flexed on retaining his TNA Title at Rebellion.

Hendry mentioned how Trick Williams attacked him, and he wasn’t over that yet. He said some nasty things about Williams, and how he used to be someone that people could actually get behind. Then he called Trick out to the ring.

Instead of Williams, Dark State showed up and attacked Joe Hendry. The TNA World Champion was a victim of a mauling at the hands of the NXT stable, and it wasn’t pretty. Joe Hendry was certainly a target this week, and things did not go as intended.

Sami Zayn Destroyed After Rejecting Seth Rollins’ Offer During 4/28 WWE RAW

Sami Zayn Destroyed After Rejecting Seth Rollins' Offer During 4/28 WWE RAW

The April 28 episode of WWE RAW rolled into the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. That included a big storyline development for Sami Zayn.

WWE RAW opened up this week with Seth Rollins telling Sami Zayn that he needs to go to SmackDown. WWE RAW started with the new stable entering the ring. Breakker, Paul Heyman, and Seth Rollins wore suits as Rollins led the crowd in singing his song. After a bit of a promo, Sami Zayn interrupted.

Zayn confronted Rollins, accusing him of hypocrisy for aligning with Heyman. Rollins defended the partnership and said he was the right choice to lead WWE. Zayn threatened Breakker, and Rollins warned that they were building the future with or without him. Rollins offered to move Zayn off RAW and gave him until the end of the show to decide.

During the show, Zayn received an amazing offer if he took them up on this move to SmackDown. He was told that he would get the winner of John Cena and Randy Orton’s Backlash match.

The show closed out this week with Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn coming to a head in the middle of the ring. Zayn had to make a decision about what he was going to do about this.

Seth Rollins started things out by talking about how great of a friend Sami Zayn has always been. He said that he wanted Zayn to take the out and go to SmackDown. He wanted him to take whatever offer Heyman had set up for him. He said he loves Sami, and he begged him to take the out.

Sami Zayn said that Rollins was dangling a World Title match in front of him like a carrot, and he will become a World Champion, but it won’t be because he took Rollins up on any deal. Zayn said that he respects and loves Rollins as a friend, but “this is me telling you to go to Hell.”

Bron Breakker’s music hit next. Then a singles match between Zayn and Breakker started. After a hard-fought match, one that Zayn could have won if he only landed a Helluva Kick, the Underdog from the Underground ate two spears. Seth Rollins told Zayn that there is still time to take the deal, and Zayn told him to “go to hell” once again. Then Breakker nailed a third spear before Zayn rolled to ringside. The referee called for the EMTs, and they tended to Zayn.

Seth Rollins then gave the signal to Bron Breakker, who ran around the ring to nail Sami Zayn with another spear. As Seth stood still, Breakker threw Zayn back in the ring. The referee called for the bell and fans in Kansas City booed them. Then Rollins nailed a stomp on Zayn as officials tended to him in the ring. This week’s show ended with Rollins posing for fans as they sang his song.

We will keep a close eye on this story, because all eyes seem to be on Seth Rollins right now more than ever. With Paul Heyman involved, you know it will get a bit of special creative treatment.

Becky Lynch Admits Attacking Bayley and Accepts Lyra Valkyrias Challenge for Backlash

Becky Lynch Admits Attacking Bayley and Accepts Lyra Valkyrias Challenge for Backlash

The April 28 episode of WWE RAW rolled into the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. They did a lot to follow up on last week’s show, including Becky Lynch turning on Lyra Valkyria.

At WrestleMania 41, Becky Lynch returned to action as Lyra’s mystery partner. Suddenly, Lynch was back, and 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. On the April 21 episode of WWE RAW, Becky turned on Lyra after they lost the titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

The Man started her promo off by getting a cheap pop from fans, and then she got down to business. She mentioned how Bayley was “tragically taken out,” but she said there won’t be any investigation about who attacked her. Lynch proudly proclaimed that it was her.

After saying that she’s not the bad guy, Becky Lynch said that Bayley forgot what this business is all about. Lynch mentioned how Bayley wears other people’s shirts to the ring and then whines about not being a bigger star. That brought her to speaking on Lyra Valkyria. She said the enemy of her enemy is her friend, but the reverse also applies.

She went off about Lyra teaming with Bayley, and she mentioned how Lyra was in the business because of The Man in the first place. That is when the Women’s IC Champion made her way out to confront her mentor.

Lyra mentioned how many women in the locker room warned her about Lynch. However, Lyra didn’t buy any of it. She was caught up in the fairytale dream of women Irish champions at WrestleMania. Lyra then said she sees Becky for who she really is, and “the illusion of Becky Lynch is dead.”

Becky Lynch got out of the ring instead of battling Lyra. She said she only wrestles where it matters, and The Man is too good for Kansas City. Then Lyra set a Women’s IC Title match for Backlash, which Lynch accepted. Then Lynch went on a rant against Lyra, and she answered it back with a brawl. As Lyra thought she won the confrontation, Becky Lynch blindsided her on the ramp to leave her laying.

Jey Uso’s First Challenger for World Title Steps Up During 4/28 WWE RAW

Jey Uso's First Challenger for World Title Steps Up During 4/28 WWE RAW

The April 28 episode of WWE RAW rolled into the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Logan Paul was on hand, and he’s always looking to prove why he’s the Maverick.

Logan Paul started out his promo on RAW this week, and he immediately started taking a shot at Jey Uso. He said that the leader of the Yeet Nation doesn’t look like a World Champion.

Jey Uso then made his way to the ring, and he had the Kansas City crowd behind him. Uce didn’t like hearing what Logan Paul had to say. He wasn’t about to hand over his title to some “punk ass YouTuber” like Paul.

Jey then went on to say how he watched GUNTHER beat Jimmy Uso down. He also said that the title is earned and not given. That was followed by Logan Paul flexing on everything he’s done in the short amount of time he’s been in WWE. He said he will take Jey’s title, and then Uce will do what he does best, “crash out, screw up, and lose that title in less time than you held the IC Title.” Suddenly, Jey Uso nailed a superkick on Logan Paul to shut him up.

Seth Rollins Makes Sami Zayn Career-Altering Offer During 4/28 WWE RAW

Seth Rollins Makes Sami Zayn Career-Altering Offer During 4/28 WWE RAW

The April 28 episode of WWE RAW rolled into the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. That included hearing from Paul Heyman’s new crew after a very big RAW after WrestleMania 41.

Paul Heyman seemingly formed a new Dangerous Alliance on RAW last week. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are by his side, and it’s anyone’s guess what’s next.

This week’s WWE RAW kicked off with the new stable making their way to the ring. Breakker wore a suit, and so did Paul Heyman. Seth Rollins was dressed to the 9s as usual, and he was very happy to be there.

Rollins got fans to sing his song once again after the dogs started barking at Breakker. Then the Visionary finally got around to welcoming Kansas City to Money Night Rollins. He was also quick to bring up how he won the main event of WrestleMania 41 night 1.

Seth Rollins then went on to say that he is the future of the pro wrestling industry, with Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker flanking them. He said the future of the industry goes through him, as Sami Zayn’s music hit.

The Underdog from the Underground came out to confront this new faction, and he had fans in Kansas City singing his song. Zayn got right to telling Rollins that “this is a load of crap, man,” because Paul Heyman is with him as he just trash talked CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Rollins said that this union with Heyman is different. Zayn then suggested that Rollins was just jealous of them.

Seth Rollins said that he’s the best man for the job of being front and center in WWE, but Sami Zayn said that is hypocritical. Rollins said that he doesn’t have the Bloodline, and he doesn’t like the comparison. Then Zayn brought up how Breakker was eyeing him, and he threatened to kick his face in.

Rollins said that his faction is the vision for the future. He doesn’t want Sami to be their enemy, but the only option is to follow them or get run over. Then Seth offered to get Zayn moved off of WWE RAW to get away from them. Seth Rollins then told Sami to think about it, but they need an answer by the end of the show.

We will have to see what’s next for this new faction in WWE. Obviously, they are going to stir the pot, and that will only gain them more attention.

Aleister Black Makes Long Awaited WWE Return During 4/25 SmackDown

The Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas hosted the April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown. The show featured a major moment as Aleister Black made his return to WWE, a move that had been heavily speculated for weeks.

Black’s AEW contract recently expired, leaving fans to wonder what his next step would be. With Triple H now leading WWE’s creative direction, and being a strong supporter of Black during his time in NXT, all signs pointed to a WWE comeback. Now, it looks like fans are finally getting the return they had been hoping for.

During the end of the second hour of SmackDown, The Miz came out to cut a promo. He complained about getting passed up for opportunities. In the process, he had a lot of good points.

Suddenly, as he was about to say how awesome he is, the lights went down. Aleister Black then made his return to the WWE fold. His entrance was the same, and fans were shocked to see him. The blue lights of his entrance lit up the arena just enough, so fans could see. Black laid out The Miz shortly after that, and then he made his exit.

This was great timing for Aleister Black’s WWE return. It came just one segment after his wife, Zelina Vega, won the WWE Women’s US Title from Chelsea Green.

One highlight of the night was a tag team title match. Chelsea Green also defended her WWE Women’s United States Title against Zelina Vega during the show.

This match went down during the second hour of the show this week. Before the match started, Zelina Vega said that she was speechless, because this was such a great opportunity for her. Chelsea Green, with the Secret Hervice by her side, was also determined to keep that championship.

Piper Niven was able to help distract Zelina Vega, but it didn’t help her win the match. Then Piper tripped Vega up as she went for a 6-1-9. Finally, the referee noticed Alba Fyre trying to interfere, and he kicked them both out from ringside.

Suddenly, Zelina Vega got a Code Red and the pinfall. Now Zelina Vega has won her first WWE singles title. This was a massive win in Texas, and nobody saw it coming.

We will have to see what happens next, but Chelsea Green certainly surprised a lot of people by losing her title. Only time will tell how many more matches are in store for these two down the line.

Stephanie Vaquer Wins Brutal Battle With Roxanne Perez—NXT Title Scene Heats Up

Stephanie Vaquer Wins Brutal Battle With Roxanne Perez—NXT Title Scene Heats Up

The April 22 episode of NXT went down at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roxanne Perez was determined to prove that she was still main event worthy, and she had a great chance to do that in Las Vegas.

Roxanne Perez took on Stephanie Vaquer during the main event of this week’s show. Perez is a former NXT Champion, and she wants to hold the gold for another round. That being said, she was facing Vaquer, who is on top of her game.

The contest received a big match feel with the special ring introductions. This match spanned through a commercial break as the two competitors battled in the ring.

It was noted that Stephanie Vaquer dislocated her right thumb during her Stand & Deliver battle. That was something that Roxanne Perez could take advantage of during this match. The two ended up fighting all around ringside, and then they battled on the entrance ramp. That was followed by Vaquer doing a slingshot outside the ring to Perez.

The NXT Women’s Champion nailed The Devil’s Kiss on Perez, and Booker T popped in a big way. He loves that move, and it’s not easy to see why. The two continued fighting in this match, as Perez took in more offense from the champion.

Roxanne Perez got in a crossface in the middle of the ring, and that ended with them trading nearfalls with one roll-up pin after another. Vaquer nailed a kick to the stomach, and then they ended in the corner, where she blocked a Pop Rocks from Perez. Then Vaquer nailed a dragon screw before hitting her finisher for the win to retain the title.

Giulia came out to confront her in the end. Jordynne Grace was also there, watching on. Obviously, there are no shortage of challengers for the title at this point.

We will have to see what’s next for the NXT Women’s Title picture. At this rate, you never know where things will end up with the way things are going.
