Solo Sikoa Returns To Attack Cody Rhodes During 2/7 WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown aired live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 7. Royal Rumble fallout going down all night, that also spelled the return of Solo Sikoa.

Jey Uso started off SmackDown this week, and he had a nice talk with Cody Rhodes. Then Jacob Fatu got involved, and that created a match for later on in the show.

This week’s SmackDown was main evented by a tag team match that captured fans’ attention. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso teamed up to take on Jacob Fatu and Tama Tanga.

The heels maintained control of this match for a while, as Cody Rhodes sold Jacob Fatu and Tama Tanga’s attack. The new Bloodline was able to tag in and out to keep the pressure on Rhodes, while Jey Uso watched on from the corner. Then Uce finally got the hot tag.

After Jey Uso fought off the Bloodline for a bit, Cody Rhodes got the tag once again, where he landed a Disaster Kick and Cody Cutter on Jacob Fatu in a flurry of offense. He only got a one count after that. The match continued, as Cody found himself at a disadvantage.

Then Cody Rhodes won the match with a Crossroads on Tama Tanga after Jey Uso sent Jacob Fatu over the announce desk. Suddenly, as Cody was celebrating, Solo Sikoa jumped in the ring and nailed Cody with a Samoan Spike. This week’s show ended with Solo looking down at a beaten American Nightmare.

Solo Sikoa was spotted backstage before SmackDown this week. So, this return comes as no real surprise for those who keep up with Ringside News. Still, the return of the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief could be a game changer.

Jey Uso’s WrestleMania 41 Decision Takes a Turn as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga Crash SmackDown

Jey Uso’s WrestleMania 41 Decision Takes a Turn as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga Crash SmackDown

The February 7 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. The Royal Rumble went down less than a week ago in Indianapolis, and they were still sorting out what happened after the big show.

Jey Uso won the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble, and he is very excited about this. Now, with the WrestleMania main event in his hands, he must pick his opponent at the showcase of the immortals.

“Main Event” Jey Uso kicked off SmackDown this week, and he YEETED his way through the crowd. Once he got to the ring, we got an encore of YEETING as they played his music for a bit longer.

Jey Uso spoke about all the love he’s received since winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble. Then he got some “You Deserve It” chants from fans. After that, he said that it was only right if he stood face-to-face with Cody Rhodes after he met up with GUNTHER on RAW this week. Then he welcomed “his dawg” Cody Rhodes to the ring.

Cody Rhodes came out to his full entrance, and he knew what Jey Uso wanted to talk about. Uce said it would mean a lot to stand across the ring from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, or he can stand next to him as they both raise their titles at the end of the show of shows. That is quite a decision.

The American Nightmare was told by his doctor and he has fluid in his elbow that needs to be drained, his back isn’t aligned, and so many other issues. That didn’t stop him from making it to SmackDown. He is also very proud that Jey Uso won the Men’s Royal Rumble. He said that Uce has a choice, and the WrestleMania 41 sign is his to point at. Then he said that, as much as Jey has a choice, Cody Rhodes also must win at WrestleMania 41. Then he alluded to the idea that his friendship with Jey Uso would be paused if he picked him.

Suddenly, Jacob Fatu’s music hit, and he came out with Tama Tonga by his side. Fatu spoke about how Rhodes took that title from his family last year, but right now his family needs that title back. Fatu turned his attention to Jey Uso next, his cousin, “big YEET man.” That is when Jacob Fatu said that Jey isn’t the man who is going to bring the title back to their family. Suddenly, action broke out in the ring as Jacob Fatu beat down everyone for a bit. Then Jey Uso nailed a Superkick and they ran the heels out of the ring.

We will have to see what happens on the road to WrestleMania. Things are certainly interesting right now.
