CM Punk Qualifies for Elimination Chamber Before Kevin Owens Sends Brutal Message to Sami Zayn

The 2025 Royal Rumble just went down in Indianapolis, but the company already has their eye on the Elimination Chamber. During the February 3 episode of WWE RAW, the company got to work on booking that Chamber match.

WWE’s Elimination Chamber event is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. This week’s RAW saw two qualifying matches go down, with CM Punk and Sami Zayn getting a ton of attention.

This match was the main event of the night, and the contest received a big fight feel thanks to Alicia Taylor’s introductions. These two got started in stiff fashion, as they traded loud chops while getting to feel each other out in the ring.

Sami Zayn and CM Punk continued their first-ever match against each other, as fans in Cleveland chanted loudly for the Second City Saint. Then Zayn answered back with a devastating superplex as they went to commercial break.

As CM Punk looked up at the WrestleMania sign, fans chanted his name even louder. Then Punk told Zayn to look up at the sign too, as he said that he’s not on his level. Suddenly, Punk went for a GTS, but Zayn reversed into a small package for a close two count.

Sami Zayn hit an exploder suplex after dodging another GTS. Then, Zayn prepared for the Helluva Kick, but Punk caught him and nailed a GTS for the win instead. Now, CM Punk is going to the Elimination Chamber match. After the match, Kevin Owens jumped Sami Zayn and laid him out with a packaged piledriver.

John Cena already had it clear that he will be in the 2025 Elimination Chamber match. He wants to get his 17th World Title win during this retirement run. Now we will have to see how WWE fills out that match.

Seth Rollins Takes Credit for Roman Reigns’ Indefinite Hiatus During 2/3 WWE RAW

Seth Rollins Takes Credit for Roman Reigns' Indefinite Hiatus During 2/3 WWE RAW

The February 3rd episode of WWE RAW was held at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. They had a lot to get to with the Royal Rumble fallout, including Seth Rollins’ next direction after he failed to win the big match on Saturday.

Seth Rollins has made it very clear that he wants to be in the WrestleMania main event. This week’s RAW gave The Visionary a very good opportunity to continue making that case. As always, he had a lot to say on the microphone.

Rollins started out his promo by hyping himself a bit. He had a lot to talk about, and Rollins said that some people will love and hate it. He is happy about Jey Uso’s Royal Rumble win, but then he directed his attention toward CM Punk.

The Visionary pointed out that CM Punk lost the Royal Rumble match, and he loved to see that. He called Punk a piece of trash and a scumbag, and he was glad to see that idiot Logan Paul” dump him over the top rope.

Seth Rollins brought up Roman Reigns next and rubbed some salt in his wound. He said that Reigns may not make it to WrestleMania 41 at all. Rollins said that Roman Reigns is hurt, and he knows this, because he’s the one who hurt him.

Rollins said that Roman Reigns would have done the exact same thing to Seth Rollins if he had the chance. Then Rollins said that he did Reigns a favor by taking him out of action, since he loves that part-time schedule. That was followed by Rollins bringing the attention to himself.

Seth Rollins said that it hurts that he didn’t win the 2025 Royal Rumble match. However, there are many paths to WrestleMania, and his goes through the Elimination Chamber. He will take on Finn Balor in a couple of weeks in a qualifying match, but he also wanted to see Sami Zayn beat CM Punk in the main event qualifying match.

Rollins called Sami Zayn out to the ring after that, and the Underdog from the Underground obliged. Rollins got a chant going for Sami Zayn, and he put him over in a big way. He tried to hype up Zayn, because he wanted to see him beat CM Punk. Then Rollins reminded Sami that he’s not on his level.

We will have to see if Seth Rollins gets what he wants. If anything, he is certainly not lacking any confidence as we roll down the road to WrestleMania 41.

What’s your take on Seth Rollins’ road to WrestleMania 41? How would you book things?

New Day Debut Updated Entrance Music During 2/3 WWE RAW

New Day Debut Updated Entrance Music During 2/3 WWE RAW

WWE RAW’s February 3rd episode rolled into Cleveland, Ohio’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. This was a big night for a lot of Superstars, including the New Day.

In recent memory, The New Day have turned heel. They did so after kicking Big E to the curb when he offered his service on a weekly basis as their manager. Their new bitter attitude is apparent, but they still had their OG theme song the whole time.

During the Royal Rumble fallout episode of RAW, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their way out for a match. This was not a huge surprise, but the music WWE played was. They have now revamped the New Day’s classic song with a new heel theme.

After that, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods started a tag team match against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. They have been feuding with the luchadors in recent memory.

Xavier Woods saw his family turn on him during the company’s January 27 WWE RAW in Atlanta last week. Now, it appears that the heel streak will continue, and they made it official with new entrance music.

We will have to see what Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods do as heels. They are certainly getting a new opportunity as they turned another chapter in the stable’s history. Only time will tell how long it will be until we hear the original New Day entrance music again.

What’s your take on The New Day’s updated entrance music? Is it a bop? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Charlotte Flair Keeps WrestleMania Opponent a Mystery After Rejecting Rhea Ripley’s Plea on WWE RAW

Charlotte Flair Keeps WrestleMania Opponent a Mystery After Rejecting Rhea Ripley’s Plea on WWE RAW

WWE RAW took place on February 3rd at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Charlotte Flair was on hand to make her big Netflix debut, and she’s doing so as a 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.

The Queen was on RAW this week, so she could address her Royal Rumble win. She already made it clear that she doesn’t know who she will challenge just yet.

Charlotte Flair made her way out to the ring at the conclusion of RAW’s first hour this week. She received a rousing welcome from fans, as they bowed down to The Queen. The first two-time started off her promo by saying that she missed fans booing and cheering her, because last year on the injured list sucked.

Flair said that the last year broke her mentally and physically, because she didn’t know if her knee was going to get better. Then she stopped as fans booed her even more, but she said she will embrace all the boos, because she loves the fans. She explained that she loves the fans, because whether they’re wooing or booing, it doesn’t change the fact that she is “the greatest WWE Superstar in the history of this industry, so boo me now!”

Suddenly, Rhea Ripley interrupted Charlotte Flair’s promo. Mami entered the building, and she had a huge ovation behind her. There is a long history with two WrestleMania matches between them, with one win each.

Rhea Ripley was quick to remind Charlotte Flair that RAW is her show. Then, she said that going to war with someone helps you earn respect, which she has for Flair. Then she pleaded with Flair to pick her, because the last time they competed at WrestleMania, Mami came out on top. At that point, Charlotte Flair reminded Ripley about their first WrestleMania match, where Flair won the NXT Women’s Title.

Charlotte Flair then said she’s going to NXT this week and SmackDown to see if Giulia or Tiffany Stratton inspires her. However, she said that Rhea Ripley jumped the gun, and she proved to her that she’s “still just a kid,” so she told her she will see her next week. Ripley didn’t like that response, especially since Flair didn’t show her the respect she showed her “so I can beat the respect into her.”

We will have to see what is next for Charlotte Flair, but this will be a busy week for her. She will be on NXT and SmackDown on top of RAW, and we will have complete coverage here at Ringside News.

What’s your take on Charlotte Flair’s WWE return so far? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
