Oba Femi Attacked By New Stable After NXT Title Defense During Vengeance Day 2025

Oba Femi Attacked By New Stable After NXT Title Defense During Vengeance Day 2025

WWE’s NXT brand brought their Vengeance Day premium live event to fans at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC. This was a huge event, and you never know what can happen when Shawn Michaels and company books one of their special shows.

Oba Femi defended the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat match against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. This was a big chance for Femi to prove that he is the Ruler of NXT.

There was some obvious tension between Austin Theory and Grayson Waller when they made their entrances. Then Oba Femi made his way out while the NXT fans chanted along. This contest also received a big fight feel thanks to the ring introductions by Mike Rome.

This match got started with A-Town Down Under double-teaming the champion, but Oba Femi fought back in a big way. That caused fans to chant his name. Femi continued to overpower the former tag team champions as they continued.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were about to square up, but then Oba Femi got involved once again. Femi cleared off the announce table, but he was sidetracked. This match continued as Waller sent Femi into the ring steps for a rough bump. Then he brought a chair in the ring as fans chanted “we want tables!”

Eventually, Oba Femi put Grayson Waller through that chair thanks to a sidewalk slam. This match continued as Austin Theory found himself at the bottom of a Tower of Doom, and he got a near fall on Femi in the process. That is when Oba got a table from underneath the ring, but Waller was the one who put Oba through the table with an elbow drop from the top rope to the outside.

Then Oba Femi returned the favor by eventually putting Grayson Waller through an announce table. Oba punched a chair out of Austin Theory’s hand, and then he ate an A-Town Down, but Grayson Waller pulled the referee out of the ring. This didn’t make Austin Theory very happy.

Then Oba Femi nailed a Fall From Grace on Grayson Waller, and he retained his NXT Championship. This was an impressive match for The Ruler, and he silenced any doubters in the process.

After the match was over, the new NXT faction that debuted prior in the night showed up. Then they rushed the ring to take Oba Femi down. The left Oba Femi on the mat as they stood in a line with their faces covered, but we already know their identities.

We will have to see what is next in this storyline, but Oba Femi’s big title defense was certainly squashed a bit after that attack. Only time will tell how Shawn Michaels and crew books this from now on.

New Stable Invades to Attack Fraxiom After Hard-Fought NXT Vengeance Day Title Defense

New Stable Invades to Attack Fraxiom After Hard-Fought NXT Vengeance Day Title Defense

Fraxiom walked into WWE NXT Vengeance Day looking to extend their reign as NXT Tag Team Champions, and after a grueling battle, they did just that. Nathan Frazer and Axiom successfully defended their titles against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura in a high-energy match that had the crowd on their feet. But just as they were celebrating another hard-fought victory, chaos erupted.

The long-teased new NXT faction made their presence known in dramatic fashion, storming the ring and blindsiding the champions. The masked attackers swarmed Fraxiom, leaving the crowd stunned and chanting, “Who Are You?!” as the group unleashed their brutal ambush.

Commentary struggled to identify the mystery invaders, but one name did get a mention—Dion Lennox, the only known figure among the chaos. WWE had been teasing the arrival of a new faction for weeks, and they finally struck at the perfect moment, sending a clear message to the tag team division.

Fraxiom’s win over Briggs and Inamura was no easy feat. The challengers, with their size advantage, dominated large portions of the match. Inamura, a former NOAH standout, showed off his power and nearly had the titles within reach. But after a relentless effort, Axiom and Frazer used their speed and teamwork to outmaneuver their opponents, securing the win and extending their title reign.

However, their celebration was short-lived. With a new faction now in play, Fraxiom may have just become the first victims of a group looking to make an instant impact in NXT.

Who do you think is behind the masks? Is this new stable targeting more than just the tag team champions? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Stephanie Vaquer Wins NXT Women’s North American Title at Vengeance Day 2025

Stephanie Vaquer Wins NXT Women's North American Title at Vengeance Day 2025

WWE’s NXT brand presented the Vengeance Day premium live event at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. The event featured multiple championship matches, and now the Dark Angel is champion.

One of the title matches tonight saw Fallon Henley defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Stephanie Vaquer. The NXT newcomer has been chasing this title for a while now, and many fans were waiting for her to finally capture the title.

This match kicked off the premium live event. Fallon Henley and the rest of Fatal Influence were very confident as they made their way to the ring. Kelani Jordan and Karmen Petrovich were both shown in the crowd as they watched on. This match also got started with big “Stephanie” chants for the challenger.

Stephanie Vaquer was able to tie Fallon Henley up with one submission hold after another, but the champion was able to get free early on, mostly by getting herself in the ropes.

Fans saw a counter to a counter over and over again as Stephanie Vaquer was seemingly one step ahead of Fallon Henley. At one point, Henley kicked Vaquer off a springboard attempt, which sent her out of the ring, so Jacy Jayne was able to nail a big boot on the challenger to help out her stablemate.

Fallon Henley tried to keep Vaquer down with a flurry of forearms, but that didn’t work. It didn’t take long for Stephanie Vaquer to rally with a sequence of hard-hitting offense. This resulted in Henley kicking out of several close counts.

Jacy Jayne nailed Stephanie Vaquer again, but that only resulted in a close two count. In the end, Vaquer took out the Fatal Influence girls at ringside. She then took everyone down with a high-risk dive to the outside. Then Vaquer nailed her finisher followed by a dive from the top for the win.

This marks Stephanie Vaquer’s first singles title in WWE. It was certainly a big win, and now she has cemented herself on top of the women’s roster.

Odyssey Jones Promises His Journey Is Continuing After Breaking Silence with Bold Video Statement

Odyssey Jones Promises His Journey Is Continuing After Breaking Silence with Bold Video Statement

Former WWE Superstar Odyssey Jones is facing serious allegations of physical abuse from his ex-partner. These accusations follow his September 2024 release from the company under unusual circumstances. Now he is going to continue his quest in the ring, however he can.

Odyssey Jones was accused of abuse when his ex-partner called him out for assault stemming from an incident in May 2024. The allegations stated that Jones reacted after finding text messages between his ex-partner and another man. She claims he threw objects and slammed her to the ground twice. His ex also allegedly provided photographic evidence at the time.

In a new Instagram post, Odyssey Jones dropped a video that showed him working out, preparing for whatever is next for him in the pro wrestling world. While speaking as the narrator of his own video, he spliced in scenes from himself in the ring and other illustrations to show make his point.

“Life tends to come at you fast. The ebb and flow of success, the failure. The high and lows of love and hate, but I understand that the God behind me is bigger than the mountain in front of me. I have come face-to-face with triumph and tragedy. I will treat them just the same. I am Odyssey, and my journey continues.

The caption for this video simply said, “Married to the Game!” He also received a ton of support in the comments of this post so far from fans who want to see him succeed.

The former WWE Superstar went on to accuse his ex of stalking. He is obviously not going to let those stories go around about him without firing back as he continues on his path, through whatever is in his way.

We will have to see what Odyssey Jones does next in the pro wrestling world. He has a ton of talent and a big personality. Sadly, just as he was about to get his big chance on the main roster with the New Day, he was released and fans never got to see his full potential. As of this writing, no charges have been pressed against Odyssey Jones.
