AEW has indeed proved to be the house of the current World Champion, Swerve Strickland, who has captivated the audience like no other during his impressive reign as the top title holder.

With Strickland announcing himself the captain of Team AEW for Blood and Guts against The Elite last week, he found himself in a highly anticipated bout against Elite member and current AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. However, the end of the match was a sight of utter chaos and a stunning entrance.

The match took place on tonight’s 250th episode of AEW Dynamite and was an enthralling sight to witness for the audience as the two champions went back-and-forth inside the squared circle with the action spilling all over.

Okada and Strickland displayed a stellar showdown, with power-packed wrestling moves and impressive feat of athleticism in the ring that had the audience in Little Rock glued to their seats.

However, the closing moments of the bout saw The Young Bucks attack Strickland, ending the match in disqualification, joined by Jack Perry and Adam Page. Right at that moment, Swerve’s Team AEW cohorts, The Acclaimed and Mark Briscoe, also came down, with chaos erupting all over. Towards the final moments of the show, Darby Allin made a surprise appearance, descending from the rafters in classic Sting style to join the fray as the 250th edition of Dynamite ended with an all-out brawl scene.
