Zoey Stark Drops Huge Recovery Update After Devastating Knee Injury

Zoey Stark Drops Huge Recovery Update After Devastating Knee Injury

Zoey Stark just shared the kind of update fans have been waiting for—and it’s finally packed with good news.

In a new Instagram video posted on October 18, 2025, the injured WWE RAW star opened up about a major breakthrough in her recovery journey. Stark had previously torn her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during the May 19 episode of RAW, resulting in a grueling three-hour surgery and months of physical therapy. But this time, Stark let fans know things have turned a major corner.

“In the last video, one of the reasons why I was having a hard time was because I was told that either I would have to get a scope done, which is where they go in, clean out my knee and scar tissue, or to get a manipulation under anesthesia,” she explained. “One of the reasons being is because I didn’t have full range of motion and that would have pushed my recovery back and that’s why I was so upset and having a really hard time with it.”

The fear of another procedure hung over her for weeks. But according to Stark, she dodged that setback and is now back in motion—literally.

“But now we’re back on track. That did not have to happen. Thank God. Now I’m running, I’m jumping, I have full range of motions. Things are going great. Honestly, I’m happy. I’m blessed.”

It’s a huge shift from her last check-in, where she explained how hitting 90 degrees of knee flexion was the only way she could even consider walking again. That milestone came after serious frustration, but Stark powered through and hit 91 degrees after an intense PT session. Now, months later, she’s leaping forward in recovery and already dreaming about her WWE return.

“I really, really can’t wait to get back into the ring and get back to you guys. So that’s all—Stark out.”

While there’s still no confirmed return date, early reports suggest she won’t be back until sometime after WrestleMania 42 in 2026. But this latest update proves Zoey Stark is crushing expectations—one milestone at a time.

Zoey Stark Shares Major Recovery Update After Brutal ACL, MCL, and Meniscus Tear

Zoey Stark Shares Major Recovery Update After Brutal ACL, MCL, and Meniscus Tear

Zoey Stark just dropped a raw update on her long road back to the WWE ring—and this time, there’s finally some good news.

On June 23rd, Stark posted a new video to Twitter/X giving fans a look at her latest milestone following her devastating knee injury. Stark tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus on the May 19th episode of RAW, with surgery that ended up lasting over three hours. Now, a few weeks into recovery, she shared some encouraging progress.

“What’s up, Stark Marks. Welcome to another week of road to recovery. This week was a lot of fun. We did a road trip to Salt Lake City. Got to see the family. Had an amazing time. Worked on my physical therapy.”

The biggest hurdle? Regaining knee flexion—something critical if she even wants to think about walking again.

“My goal for this week, and it had to happen this week for me more than anything else, was to hit 90 degrees. Now, if you don’t know, if you don’t hit 90 degrees after you tear your ACL, MCL and meniscus, like I did, you can’t even think about walking.”

But getting there wasn’t easy. Stark admitted she was battling frustration after struggling to hit even 70 degrees during a trip to Salt Lake City. Then, things finally clicked.

“Until Wednesday, I go into PT, I’m at home, I’m relaxed. I had my physical therapy work on me a bit. And, there you go, hit the 91, which I’m stoked about! Now, we continue on to the next hurdle.”

The RAW star still has a long recovery ahead, with reports suggesting she won’t be back before WrestleMania 42 in 2026. But hitting 91 degrees marks a huge step toward walking—and eventually, returning to the ring.

Zoey Stark Shuts Down Viral AI Deepfake Claiming She Retired from WWE

Zoey Stark Shuts Down Viral AI Deepfake Claiming She Retired from WWE

Zoey Stark isn’t retiring—and she wants fans to know the truth came straight from her, not from some AI-generated deepfake.

The RAW star took to social media to set the record straight after a viral fake video falsely claimed she was stepping away from professional wrestling. The AI clip used her likeness and voice to announce a retirement due to injury, and it was so convincing that even Stark’s own family fell for it.

In response, Stark posted a video of herself watching the deepfake and reacting in disbelief. She made it clear that the video was entirely fake and that she’s very much still committed to returning to the ring.

Stark is currently rehabbing at the UFC Performance Institute after undergoing surgery for multiple torn ligaments. Back on May 19, during an episode of RAW, she suffered a serious injury when she collapsed after delivering a missile dropkick. The final diagnosis was a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. A two-hour surgery turned into a grueling three-and-a-half-hour procedure.

While she’s expected to be out of action until at least WrestleMania 42 in 2026, Stark emphasized that she’s putting in the work during her recovery and isn’t done with wrestling by any means.

The timing of this fake retirement video added unnecessary confusion to what’s already been an emotional journey for Stark. WWE hasn’t officially commented on the viral deepfake, but Stark’s direct response cut through the noise.

Zoey Stark Reveals Extensive Knee Damage and Hints at What’s Next After Surgery

Zoey Stark Reveals Extensive Knee Damage and Hints at What’s Next After Surgery

Zoey Stark just gave fans a sobering look at her injury status—and it’s even worse than expected.

On June 9, 2025, the RAW star uploaded a video showing herself checking into the hospital, confirming the full extent of her injuries: “ACL, MCL, and Meniscus—all torn.” But that wasn’t all—text in the video revealed, “The scheduled 2 hour surgery took 3 1/2 hours.”

The emotional footage gave fans a raw view of Stark’s road to recovery following her injury on the May 19 episode of RAW. She collapsed after landing a missile dropkick, forcing WWE officials to immediately stop the match.

While WWE hasn’t issued an official update, sources have already reported that she’s not expected to return before WrestleMania 42 in 2026. This long absence halts a steady rise for Stark, who had been carving out her own space on RAW after a 2023 run with Trish Stratus.

The video closed with an intriguing teaser: “What’s next for Zoey Stark? Tune in Monday June 16.” Whether that’s a documentary-style segment or the start of a long-term comeback narrative remains to be seen—but it’s clear WWE isn’t done telling her story just yet.

How should WWE handle Zoey Stark’s return once she’s cleared? Do you want to see her go straight into a main event feud or build her way back up? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
