Dominik Mysterio Wins AAA Mega Championship At Worlds Collide

Dominik Mysterio Wins AAA Mega Championship At Worlds Collide

Dirty Dom is a double champion.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2025 was quite a show in Las Vegas. That being said, one match needed to be switched up a bit. The Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in the Las Vegas was packed with fans, but they didn’t get to see Xavier Woods wrestle.

Dirty Dominik Mysterio and Vikingo closed out the show tonight, and they had quite a battle for the AAA Mega Championship.

This match had fans chanting loudly for Dominik Mysterio, as some wanted to see the WWE IC Champion leave Las Vegas with a second title.

There were a ton of near falls in this match, as both competitors gave each other everything they had. They survived several signature moves, including diving knees, powerbombs, dives, and plenty of stiff strikes.

Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh came down to help, but it backfired on Dominik Mysterio. They gave Dom a loaded mask, but then Vikingo just kicked him in the head. Dragon Lee came down next, and then Rey Mysterio entered the situation with a steel chair in hand. After all, Dominik Mysterio said that Rey would have to put the title on him if he won it.

The match continued in the ring, where Vikingo put Dominik in position to hit a 630 as fans booed him. Then El Grande Americano showed up to stop the referee from counting to three. Then Dirty Dom nailed a 6-1-9 and a splash, but there was no referee to make the count in time. The match kept going with Vikingo nailing a poisonrana, and then he tried to pull El Grande Americano’s mask off, but he slipped a metal plate to Dom, and he loaded the mask to nail a headbutt and a splash to win the match and become AAA Mega Champion. After the match, Rey Mysterio came in to put the title on his son, and this was quite a dramatic moment where the younger Mysterio demanded that his father put the title around his waist.

We will have to see what WWE and AAA are able to put together next. At this rate, they are certainly proving that whatever they are able to collaborate on is worth watching.

Wyatt Sicks Invade WWE x AAA Worlds Collide To Destroy Championship Team

Wyatt Sicks Invade WWE x AAA Worlds Collide To Destroy Championship Team

The Wyatt Sicks can’t be contained.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide went down in Las Vegas tonight. You never know who will show up at one of those show, including the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Xavier Woods couldn’t compete at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide tonight. Since Xavier Woods couldn’t wrestle in the AAA Tag Team Title match, it was changed. So, Pagano and Psycho Clown defended the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston, who was accompanied by Xavier Woods.

Pagano and Psycho Clown won their match and retained the titles. Then they started to give a post-match interview. However, their time in the ring with the microphone was cut short.

The Wyatt Sicks made their way down and fans lost their minds. Then the Wyatt Sicks got in the ring and proceeded to destroy Pagano and Psycho Clown. Then they held up the AAA Tag Team Champions to pose after the demolition.

The AAA Tag Team Champions were left totally destroyed in Las Vegas. Needless to say, but there could be a lot more to this story when everything is said and done.

Fans Berate WrestleMania 43 Promo With 'You Sold Out' Chants During WWE X AAA Worlds Collide

Fans aren’t thrilled about WrestleMania 43’s location.

WWE Worlds Collide went down on September 12, 2025, at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was quite a show with a very lively crowd.

WWE x AAA Worlds Collide went down in Las Vegas tonight. That was the same city where WWE announced that WrestleMania 43 will be in Saudi Arabia in 2027, and fans took notice.

During the premium live event, WWE aired a promo to hype WrestleMania 43’s historic location. This was not seen in the best light, because fans in the building reacted.

Fans started chanting “You Sold Out” inside the venue after WWE played their Saudi Arabia video package to hyped WrestleMania in 2027. That sound was also picked up on the microphones, so fans had their voices heard during the broadcast.

We previously noted that fans are not happy about the WrestleMania 43 location. Not only is it a very expensive destination, but some also feel that Saudi Arabia used their massive checkbook to skip the line over more deserving cities, like London. After all, John Cena said that London has earned the showcase of the immortals.

Cody Rhodes Makes Surprise Return To Set Up Wrestlepalooza Match During 9/12 WWE SmackDown

The American Nightmare is back.

WWE SmackDown on Friday, September 12, 2025, is taking place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The show closed out with Cody Rhodes’ return to the ring, since he’s been out of action to film the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

This week’s SmackDown was main evented by Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. However, the real surprise came after the match. Cody Rhodes ran into the situation, where he broke things up in a big way. This came after Drew McIntyre won the match.

Drew McIntyre was going to kick Randy Orton in the head at ringside, just like he did to Cody Rhodes to take the American Nightmare out of action. Suddenly, Cody returned in surprising fashion.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion took Drew McIntyre out in a big way. Then, as the crowd was hyped as ever, Rhodes announced that the champ was back. Then he told McIntyre that he will see him at Wrestlepalooza.

The next premium live event for WWE, Wrestlepalooza, will go down on September 20. We don’t have much time to hype the event, but we now know what Cody Rhodes will make his return to the ring, where he will take on Drew McIntyre.

Nia Jax Goes On Rampage After WWE Women's Title Match During 9/12 SmackDown

Nia Jax doesn’t like to share the spotlight.

WWE SmackDown on Friday, September 12, 2025, is taking place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The show included a couple of title matches, and the WWE Women’s Title was certainly a highlight.

Tiffany Stratton has been riding high as WWE Women’s Champion. She has defeated any challenger, shoo-in WWE Hall of Famers, and anyone else who stepped up to her. This week on SmackDown, she squared up in a SummerSlam re-match against Jade Cargill.

This match kicked off the second hour of the show. The contest stretched through a commercial break, and it included a few close near falls. Jade Cargill fought to stay focused as Tiffany Stratton took everything that she threw at her.

Stratton nailed an Alabama Slam, but Jade rolled out of the way of a Prettiest Moonsault Ever to nail a pump kick, but then both women were on the mat. The match went to the outside, where Jade Cargill put Tiffany through the barricade. Then the match ended via double count out.

Suddenly, Nia Jax showed up to destroy Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton. This was quite an end to the match, as the Irresistible Force put a big exclamation point on the end of this championship match.

What’s your take on the result of this title match on SmackDown? Do you think that Triple H should have booked things differently? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Sami Zayn Retains In Grueling US Open Challenge Match During 9/12 WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn Retains In Grueling US Open Challenge Match During 9/12 WWE SmackDown

The United States Title match this week was awesome.

WWE SmackDown on Friday, September 12, 2025, is taking place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The US Title was on the line, and fans certainly saw a big match.

Sami Zayn started a US Open Challenge, and he even got John Cena’s permission to continue that tradition. This week on SmackDown, he continued with that promise as he offered a match to anyone who stepped through the curtain.

Prior to the match, they spoiled things as Rey Fenix was revealed to be Sami Zayn’s opponent tonight. This match had fans going from the opening bell, and there were a lot of near falls along the way.

Fenix was able to get out of the way and avoid a Helluva Kick, and then he got a very close two count after a DDT before they went to commercial break. We came back, and the action was still fast-paced. Vic Joseph and Booker T said they were exhausted on commentary before Sami got another near fall after a Blue Thunder Bomb. Then Sami went for a Helluva Kick, but Fenix reversed it into another near fall.

Fans chanted “this is awesome” as the match continued, which was well-deserved. Then Sami was able to nail another exploder suplex in the corner and hit a Helluva Kick for the win to retain the title.

We will have to see what’s next for the United States Title. WWE has given the championship some real attention in recent memory, and only time will tell who steps up to challenge for the title next.

What’s your take on Sami Zayn’s reign as United States Champion? Who do you want to see him wrestle next for the title? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Brock Lesnar Splits His Pants With Devastating F5 During 9/12 WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar Splits His Pants With Devastating F5 During 9/12 WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar is letting it all out this time around.

WWE SmackDown on Friday, September 12, 2025, is taking place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Brock Lesnar has a big match against John Cena coming up, and the Beast Incarnate didn’t miss the blue brand this week.

Brock Lesnar kicked off SmackDown this week. He came out and fans berated him with negative chants. He didn’t get a word spoken before R-Truth’s music hit.

R-Truth rapped all the way to the ring as he asked fans “What’s up?” Then he got in the squared circle with Lesnar. Then Lesnar told Truth to shut up. That is when R-Truth announced that he’s the first in WWE to welcome Lesnar back, before he said that he’s not scared of Brock anymore.

Brock Lesnar cut R-Truth off, as he said, “I don’t even know who you are.” That is when R-Truth came down on Lesnar for beating his childhood hero John Cena down. That is when Lesnar asked Truth asked how old he was, and then he asked him his name.

Lesnar wasn’t interested in Truth, as he was only looking for John Cena. Truth then said that he was there to defend Cena, who he called his “older brother.” Truth said his name is “Ron Cena.” Lesnar took a second to let fans chant “Ron Cena,” before he asked if Truth knew where Cena is once again. Truth said that Cena is coming at Lesnar with hustle, loyalty and respect and “he won’t be coming for the beast, he’ll be feeding on him.”

Before R-Truth could react to Brock Lesnar telling him that he’s missing a tooth, the Beast Incarnate popped off an F5. After that, Brock Lesnar turned around and his pants were split. He didn’t seem to mind as fans reacted. He even bent over in the ring to show off his backside a bit. As he left, Lesnar said to the camera, “blue underwear” with a smile as he called out his exposed briefs.

R-Truth and John Cena have a long-lasting bit. That also saw the two collide at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which put a great bow on their years-long story. That being said, Brock Lesnar’s involvement certainly brought things to a new, violent level. The pants splitting was totally unexpected.

What’s your take on Brock Lesnar’s appearance during this week’s SmackDown? How do you think Wrestlepalooza will turn out? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
