Jey Uso Survives Total Chaos, Beats Rusev, Sheamus & Reed to Advance in King of the Ring

WWE RAW’s June 16 episode went down in the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The King of the Ring tournament continued, and that was quite a match.

This week’s WWE RAW saw a King of the Ring Fatal Four-Way tournament match of Rusev vs. Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed vs. Jey Uso. Naturally, Jey Uso wanted to get back into the thick of things after losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to GUNTHER last week.

The King of the Ring tournament match went down as the main event for the show this week. The winner of this match will face Cody Rhodes in a semifinal match on next week’s RAW in Columbus, Ohio.

This match got started with a lot of action as everyone threw their weight around the match. Then they cut to a commercial break as fans in Green Bay cheered them on. When we got back from commercial break, Jey Uso was dishing out yeet-filled superkicks. Then Rusev took Uce down as Sheamus and Reed fought on the outside.

The four men continued in the ring, and they cut to another commercial break after Bronson Reed rallied to leave all of his opponents on the mat. Then Sheamus threw Rusev over the announce table as the match carried on. Paul Heyman stood at ringside with Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank briefcase as he watched Reed carry on.

Sheamus eventually nailed a White Noise on Bronson Reed for a two-count. Then Rusev dropped Sheamus onto Reed as he stalked his opponents. Jey Uso tried to take Rusev down next, but he just ended up in an Accolade for a bit.

The match continued as Jey Uso almost nailed a splash from the top rope on Bronson Reed, but Bron Breakker pushed him off the top rope. Then Bron Breakker attacked Breakker to take him out of the situation until Breakker press slammed Zayn over the announce table only to have Penta show up and nail a dive on him.

Bronson Reed climbed to the top rope, and then LA Knight showed up out of nowhere to push him off. Jey Uso nailed a spear next followed by two Uso Splashes for the win. Now Jey Uso will go on to face Cody Rhodes next week on RAW.

Sami Zayn also beat Bron Breakker, Penta, and Dominik Mysterio during the first qualifying match on Monday’s RAWRandy Orton was able to pull down the win to advance. Cody Rodes also won a match to advance in the tournament.

The finals of the 2025 King of the Ring will go down at WWE Night of Champions 2025 on Saturday, June 28th, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the Kingdom Arena. We will have more updates as they are made available.

Liv Morgan Suffers Injury During Match On 6/16 WWE RAW

Liv Morgan Suffers Injury During Match On 6/16 WWE RAW

WWE RAW’s June 16 episode went down in the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You never know what can happen in WWE, and that includes an unexpected injury.

Kairi Sane and Liv Morgan faced off in singles action during the second hour of this week’s RAW. This match was going smoothly, but then an injury popped up.

While Kairi Sane and Liv Morgan battled in the ring, the Judgment Day member took an awkward bump on her shoulder. WWE medical staff tended to Morgan at ringside as Sane waited to continue.

The show went to a commercial break as they figured out what to do next. When we got back from commercial, Corey Graves and Michael Cole revealed that Morgan was injured and the match was called off. Then they showed a few slow motion replays of Morgan’s injury. She was helped to the back, and although she walked on her own, it wasn’t a great look.

It was later revealed by Michael Cole on commentary that Liv Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder. We will have to see if she misses any time due to this injury.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. After all, Liv Morgan and Nikki Bella seemingly have a storyline going into WWE Evolution. Obviously, someone like Liv Morgan commands a lot of attention, and losing her is the last thing they need right now.

What’s your take on Liv Morgan’s injury scare? How do you think it will change WWE’s booking? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Becky Lynch Mocks Bayley as Second-Fiddle, Says Nobody Cared She Missed WrestleMania

Becky Lynch Mocks Bayley as Second-Fiddle, Says Nobody Cared She Missed WrestleMania

WWE RAW’s June 16 episode went down in the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Bayley was on hand to carry on her return storyline.

Bayley made her return to WWE television during last week’s episode of WWE RAW. She attacked Becky Lynch in the process, and that set up this week when the former Hugger was able to speak her piece.

Bayley made her way out during RAW’s second hour. She spoke about how much she missed the fans, and fans chanted for her. Then she said that she will never take any moment in the ring for granted, because it was what she was born to do.

Then Bayley said she puts her heart and soul into pro wrestling, but two months ago she was stripped of a WrestleMania moment thanks to Becky Lynch attacking her. Thankfully, she proclaimed that she doesn’t work so hard just for one night. Fans chanted for “Bayley” once again after that.

Bayley turned her attention toward Becky Lynch next. She told The Man that if she thinks losing a WrestleMania moment hurt her, then she’s wrong. In fact, getting taken out of that match only made her stronger. Bayley promised to “climb that ladder” and take Becky Lynch down. That is when The Man made her entrance right on cue.

Becky Lynch came out in Green Bay covered in Chicago Bears gear. No doubt that came out of her and Seth Rollins’ personal closets. Lynch then said that Bayley accepts being second-fiddle, “much like the Packers.” Becky then said she’d “rather have her legacy than fake-ass friends.” Bayley then made a point that she already has a legacy, she’s a shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer as well.

At that point, Becky Lynch said that nobody gave a damn that Bayley missed WrestleMania 41. Bayley then called Lynch insecure, as she said that Lynch was the one who really cared about what fans thought about her. Then Bayley asked if Becky’s head is too far up her ass to remember what it’s like to have fans care about her. Lynch asked whether Bayley remembers what holding gold feels like, and Bayley told Lynch to remind her what it feels like.

Becky Lynch then said that Bayley can have a match against her, but it won’t be in Green Bay. It also won’t be for the Women’s IC Title. Lynch told Bayley that she’ll see her in Columbus, Ohio. The WWE Monday Night Raw on June 23, 2025 will be held at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and it appears that we will see Becky Lynch battle Bayley in a non-title match.

What’s your take on Bayley’s return to WWE television? Do you believe that she has another title run waiting on her? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Goldberg Returns to Challenge GUNTHER During 6/16 WWE RAW

Goldberg Returns to Challenge GUNTHER During 6/16 WWE RAW

Goldberg just crashed WWE RAW and made it official — the legendary powerhouse will have his final match on July 12 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, Georgia, and he’s targeting none other than the new World Heavyweight Champion, GUNTHER.

The June 16 episode of RAW went down at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and ended the first hour with a huge moment. GUNTHER, fresh off his win over Jey Uso last week to capture the World Title, came out to pose with his championship in front of a massive firework display before cutting a confident promo.

In his words, “Jey Uso was the better man… but that was only for one night. Every other night, I am untouchable.” The crowd didn’t buy it — they started chanting “Goldberg!” and GUNTHER snapped, claiming he was “done with him” after verbally tearing into the Hall of Famer.

But GUNTHER spoke too soon. That’s when Goldberg made his shocking entrance to a thunderous reaction from the crowd. Fireworks lit up again as he walked to the ring and took the mic. “I’m here because this is your moment,” Goldberg told GUNTHER, playing it cool before dropping the bomb. He brought up their previous run-in in Atlanta, Georgia, and then challenged GUNTHER to settle it once and for all in that same city on July 12. “You started something with me in Atlanta… and I’m finishing it in Atlanta. GUNTHER — you’re next.”

This moment on RAW also played out live on Netflix, making it a huge streaming spectacle. The return comes shortly after Goldberg appeared on an episode of CarCast and opened up about the difficulty of preparing for his final match. While the official date hadn’t been public until now, Goldberg revealed he already knew when it was happening and was struggling through training.

“I know the date [of my retirement match]. No one else knows the date public-wise… I hurt myself a couple times in the past three months. But I pulled back,” he shared, adding, “It is tough… I’ve got a very high bar to set that I set for myself and 99 times out of a hundred, it’s unrealistic.”

Goldberg also noted he’s been using Muay Thai to get back in shape, but the process has taken its toll. “Then you go into the Muay Thai gym and hit the pads and not go crazy and then blow your shoulder out and blow your bicep out and pull your hamstring from throwing a high kick.”

Despite all that, Goldberg’s mindset remains locked in. “I’m not just showing up to show up. I need to show up and be me.”

The Hall of Famer’s final match will now officially be against GUNTHER, who has already proven himself to be one of the most dominant champions of this generation. With the match set for Goldberg’s hometown of Atlanta, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

This match kicked off WWE RAW as the first match of the night. Asuka was the final competitor announced in the match, and fans were more than happy to welcome her out. Asuka’s most recent WWE match was at Backlash 2024 on April 5, 2024. She and Kairi Sane lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at the premium live event. A knee injury kept her out of action for over a year after that.

This match stretched through a commercial break after they got started. When we came back, Stephanie Vaquer tried a Devil’s Kiss, but Raquel Rodriguez stopped her, and she put Vaquer on her shoulders. Soon, the two toppled over the top rope, so Stephanie could nail the Devil’s Kiss on the apron.

Ivy Nile and Asuka squared off against each other next. Asuka kicked out of everything Ivy threw at her, and then they cut to another commercial break. When we got back, Asuka took out her opponents with a top rope dropkick as Raquel had Ivy and Vaquer on her shoulders.

Rhea Ripley showed up to pull Raquel Rodriguez off a pinfall and she nailed her with a Rip Tide at ringside. Then she sent Raquel back into the ring so Asuka could finish her off with an Empress Impact and a pinfall. Now Asuka will go onto the semifinals to face Alexa Bliss.

During the June 9 episode of WWE RAW, Roxanne Perez advanced in the tournament. She beat Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Kairi Sane to move forward. Earlier in the night, Jade Cargill also won a match to advance. Alexa Bliss was also able to win to go on in the tournament.

This match carried on through a commercial break. Andrade was able to stun fans with a moonsault, but Cody Rhodes had the fans firmly behind him as they chanted for the American Nightmare. They also exploded when Rhodes brought out a Slim Jim branded table and set it up at ringside. Damian Priest and Cody Rhodes tried to team up to suplex Andrade through the table, but Shinsuke stopped them. Then Nakamura sent Rhodes through the table as they cut to another commercial break.

We came back from commercial to find the Superstars still battling in this match. Nia Jax and Piper Niven kept assaulting Jade Cargill, but the former TBS Champion didn’t lay down for the three count. They moved outside where they both heaved her over the announce table to take out Wade Barrett in the process. Then they moved their attention to Michin.

Nia Jax then turned on Piper Niven when Michin was sufficiently beaten down. Piper wouldn’t let Nia Jax pin Michin so easily. R-Truth Ambushes John Cena With Surprise Attack During 6/13 WWE SmackDown

R-Truth Ambushes John Cena With Surprise Attack During 6/13 WWE SmackDown

John Cena shocked the world at WrestleMania 41, and that started the final title reign for the Last Real Champion in WWE. This week, during the June 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cena was certainly in the house.

This week’s SmackDown opened up with John Cena making his way to the ring. After receiving an introduction from ring announcer Mark Nash, Cena proceeded in listing himself as every name on the pro wrestling Mount Rushmore. He said that there have been great wrestlers and talkers, but nobody is comparable to him.

Cena went on to say how he’s smarter than fans, because they can’t see him but want to be him. He then said that he announced his retirement six months early to scout his opponents. Then he broke down his strategy in how he won the Elimination Chamber and his WrestleMania 41 win. He even took credit for putting R-Truth in the main event.

John Cena then said that while fans were wasting their with R-Truth, he started an alliance with Logan Paul for a match at Money in the Bank to bide his time before an eventual title match against CM Punk. Fans started to chant for Punk as Cena said that if Punk wants to take the title, he needs to admit that he’s a hypocrite. He then proclaimed that Seth Rollins won’t cash in on Cena as champion, because he wants Cena to leave with the belt, so the Visionary can cash in on the only titleholder when Cena leaves as champion.

Then John Cena said that fans won’t realize how good he is until three years after he’s gone. At that point, Cody Rhodes made his way out to receive his full entrance in Lexington. Fans were very hyped to see the American Nightmare, as he said that Cena is “a genius.” Cody then said that Cena was right about how he used everyone in his final master plan, but there is a variable that he didn’t account for: ‘the simple fact that this past Saturday you were looking at the lights when I pinned you in the center of this ring!”

Cody Rhodes then said that Cena isn’t part of his plan, Cena is a part of his plan. After Cena asked Cody where this leaves them, Randy Orton made his way down to the ring. Orton made it clear that he doesn’t care who he has to go through to get his 15th World Title reign. Then LA Knight made his way out to talk to fans. He talked trash at all the Superstars in the ring, as he called them the “WWE establishment” and himself a “sore thumb.” He then promised to beat everyone in the ring to become World Champion if he needed to.

After that, John Cena got out of the ring and made his exit. Fans booed him big time. Then Ron Killings jumped Cena from behind. Security had to run out to separate them, and fans were pumped to witness the ambush.

John Cena has no shortage of challengers, but it appears that CM Punk is getting his attention in a big way. We will have to see how this pans out, but Cena’s final run in WWE is certainly memorable.

What’s your take on John Cena’s final run in WWE? Do you believe that he will turn babyface again by the end of it? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

GUNTHER Wins Back World Heavyweight Title on RAW With Vicious Sleeper Hold

GUNTHER Wins Back World Heavyweight Title on RAW With Vicious Sleeper Hold

GUNTHER just made history again—and this time, he did it by choking out Jey Uso in the main event of WWE RAW.

On June 9, 2025, WWE RAW went down at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, and the World Heavyweight Championship was up for grabs. Jey Uso earned the title shot after making GUNTHER tap out at WrestleMania 41, but the Ring General didn’t waste any time clawing his way back into the title picture. And this week, he got his revenge in brutal fashion.

The match closed the show, and Alicia Taylor’s intense ring introductions gave it a real main event feel. Jey walked in with taped ribs after Bronson Reed’s attack at Money in the Bank, and GUNTHER zeroed in on the injury, ripping off the tape mid-match to continue the punishment.

The two brawled on the outside, where GUNTHER “nailed a release German suplex on Jey Uso,” sending him crashing hard to the mat. Both men made it back into the ring before the countout, and the assault didn’t slow down from there. Inside the ropes, GUNTHER chopped Jey mercilessly while keeping the upper hand during a commercial break.

Uso showed heart, fighting back with a dive to the floor, a huge spear, and an Uso Splash for a close two-count. GUNTHER fired back with a powerbomb, then a spear of his own, each for a near fall. In the end, it came down to a sleeper hold war.

GUNTHER cinched it in. Jey tried to escape. Then he locked one in himself. But GUNTHER powered out, turned the tables, and put the hold back on until Jey Uso passed out cold.

“Then Jey Uso passed out and GUNTHER won the title.”

With that, GUNTHER reclaimed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a dramatic, physical showdown that left fans stunned.

Jey Uso may have lost the title, but he proved once again that he can hang with anyone in the main event. And GUNTHER just proved that no setback will keep him down for long.

Liv Morgan Takes Shot At Nikki Bella’s Personal Life During 6/9 WWE RAW

Liv Morgan Takes Shot At Nikki Bella's Personal Life During 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE RAW on June 9, 2025 went down at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, and they had a lot planned. Nikki Bella was in the house for the show, because a big event is on the horizon.

Nikki Bella is a WWE Hall of Famer, and she’s had an interesting career after departing from the company. This week on RAW, the leader of the Bella Army was on hand for the show on Netflix.

After a hype video about her career, Nikki Bella was shown with Maxxine Dupri and Natalya. Then Bella spoke to IYO Sky and introduced herself to the WWE Women’s Champion. Later on in the show, Bella had a chance to get even more time.

The Phoenix crowd loves their home city hero, and they gave her a great welcome. Nikki Bella was there to hype WWE Evolution coming next month, after all, she main evented the first Evolution event so many years ago. She listed a few of the top women in WWE, while mispronouncing Stephanie Vaquer’s name. Then Liv Morgan came out to give her a piece of her mind, because Bella didn’t mention her.

Liv Morgan yelled that she is the most talented woman in the division, and she continues to prove that. She got in Nikki Bella’s face about it, and she said that Bella is lucky she wasn’t around during her in-ring career, because she would have taken her title. Morgan then claimed that Nikki is jealous of her, because she has a championship and a man.

Then Nikki Bella said that she’s still trying to figure out who Dominik Mysterio belongs to, Liv or Roxanne Perez. Then she told Liv to give Perez congratulations for taking her title shot and her man. Then Morgan said all she’ll be is a “reality show diva.” Then Bella ate an Oblivion in the middle of the ring.

Nikki Bella and WWE weren’t on the best terms for a while. Obviously, things are water under the bridge and the two are back on good standing. Now, we will have to see what is next for all parties involved.

The second WWE Evolution event will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Only time will tell what they add to the card to gain attention at this point.
