Sami Zayn Moves to King of the Ring Semifinals After Wild Fatal 4-Way During 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE RAW took place on June 9, 2025, at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. They also made their way toward crowning a new King of the Ring.

This week on WWE RAW, the King of the Ring tournament began with a qualifier match featuring Dominik Mysterio, Sami Zayn, Bron Breakker, and Penta El Zero Miedo. The match served as the first step in the tournament, with the winner advancing to the next round.

The King of the Ring tournament will continue over the next several weeks, leading to the finals. The final match is scheduled for June 28, 2025, at WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This match spanned through a commercial break. The big story of the match was trying to control Bron Breakker, which is an almost impossible task. Dominik Mysterio also almost stole the win on occasion, and Penta was incredibly over with the fans as well.

Before they cut to commercial break, Bron Breakker nailed a giant dive off the apron to take out Dominik Mysterio on the announce table. When we returned, Bron took out Sami Zayn with a top rope Frankensteiner. Paul Heyman had some words of wisdom for Breakker at ringside as this match carried on.

Bron Breakker was attacked by LA Knight at ringside as he nailed a BFT on the outside. Then Sami nailed a Helluva Kick on Dominik Mysterio and he snagged the win. Now Zayn will go on to the semifinals in the 2025 Money in the Bank tournament.

Roxanne Perez advanced earlier in the show to move onto the Queen of the Ring semifinals. The full brackets for both sides were also revealed during this week’s show. We will keep a close eye on the 2025 King of the Ring tournament. Obviously, the winner of this big match will go on to get a big opportunity this year.

R-Truth Cuts His Hair & Proclaims Himself Ron Killings During 6/9 WWE RAW

R-Truth Cuts His Hair & Proclaims Himself Ron Killings During 6/9 WWE RAW

R-Truth is gone—and Ron Killings is here to stay.

The June 9, 2025 episode of WWE RAW from the PHX Arena in Phoenix delivered its fair share of twists, but nothing hit harder than Ron Killings’ dramatic return and reinvention. Just days after blindsiding John Cena at Money in the Bank, the man formerly known as R-Truth stepped back into the ring with a mic in hand—and a message that left fans speechless.

Addressing the WWE Universe for the first time since his return, Killings made it clear this wasn’t a joke or a gimmick. He opened by thanking fans for bringing him back, but wasted no time diving into something much deeper. “R-Truth can be too serious at times,” he said, before taking the audience on an emotional ride that ended with a live haircut—literally.

In one of the most raw and unfiltered segments in recent WWE memory, Killings pulled out a pair of scissors and cut off his braids in front of a stunned crowd.

The Phoenix audience erupted with chants of “holy sht”* as he looked into the camera and declared: “The truth has set me free—I am Ron Killings.”

He finished by demanding respect and making one thing clear: he’s not here to entertain anyone with jokes anymore. This is a new era for one of WWE’s most enduring performers, and based on the reaction in the arena, fans are fully behind this transformation.

Whether this new version of Ron Killings will lead to championship gold or a deeper feud with Cena remains to be seen—but one thing’s certain: the Truth gimmick is officially dead.

Bayley Returns to Attack Becky Lynch During During 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE RAW took place on June 9, 2025 at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. This week was Bayley’s chance to make her return to the fold.

WWE has a lot of Superstars who could surprise fans at any moment. This week was time for Bayley to make her way back to the company’s television.

Bayley’s most recent WWE match took place on April 14, 2025, during an episode of Monday Night RAW. She faced Liv Morgan and secured a victory after a 12-minute and 39-second match.

This week’s WWE RAW saw Bayley make her return to WWE television. Becky Lynch started the whole thing off by cutting a promo as the new Women’s IC Champion. Then she called out Lyra Valkyria, who looked very angry.

Suddenly, Bayley jumped Becky Lynch from behind. She was taken out of action by Lynch, after all. Now Bayley is back and she’s looking for revenge. That brought the former WWE Women’s champion back into the fold in a big way.

Bayley is a shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer. At this point, she’s achieved a lot in the company, but her story is far from finished. Naturally, we will have even more updates as we have more information at Ringside News.

What’s your take on Bayley’s return to WWE? Do you believe that the company will use her appropriately? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

WWE RAW took place on June 9, 2025, at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. They also made their way toward crowning a new Queen of the Ring.

This week on WWE RAW, the Queen of the Ring tournament began with a qualifier match between Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez, and Rhea Ripley. The match determined who would move forward in the tournament bracket.

The Queen of the Ring tournament will continue in the coming weeks. The finals are set to take place on June 28, 2025, during WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This qualifying match went on as the first hour of the show wrapped up. WWE revealed the brackets, and there are some seriously interesting possibilities.

This match stretched through a commercial break, and it featured some serious action. Each Superstar had a chance to steal the spotlight as Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez worked together to take out their opponents. That was the general story, as they took out Rhea Ripley.

Then Ripley was able to double powerbomb Morgan and Perez before Sane took her out with a flying forearm from the top for a near fall. This was a fierce battle and fans watched on to see who would pull off the win.

Rhea Ripley was able to come back and rally. She nailed a few moves around the ring to take everyone out. She even blocked an Oblivion from Liv Morgan as she hit a Rip Tide, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her off the cover. In the end, Roxanne Perez was able to pin Kairi Sane after she hit Liv with an Insane Elbow. Now, Perez will move on in the tournament’s semifinals.

The 2025 King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments will end at the Night of Champions event on June 28, 2025. The event will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE Makes Alteration to Money in the Bank Briefcase for 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE Makes Alteration to Money in the Bank Briefcase for 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE RAW took place on June 9, 2025, at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The aftermath of Money in the Bank was all over the place, especially for Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins won the 2025 Money in the Bank contract, just as he promised to. Now the Visionary has a guaranteed title match whenever he wants it. This week on RAW, he was obviously there to rub salt in the wound.

This week’s WWE RAW saw John Cena and CM Punk have a tense standoff. The two agreed to have a match at Night of Champions after that. Suddenly, Seth Rollins appeared on the entrance ramp to make a big statement.

The Visionary simply held up his Money in the Bank briefcase with a big smile on his face. However, many fans noticed a change to his luggage. The CashApp logo was missing.

The sponsorship deal with CashApp and WWE was likely just for Money in the Bank. So, the briefcase holders won’t be walking around with an advertisement until they cash in. Still, that money was well spent as it got the popular financial app a lot of attention.

As we reported, WWE put a CashApp logo on this year’s Money in the Bank briefcases. They also had Fireball branding on one of the ladders.

Seth Rollins is on a roll right now as Mr Money in the Bank. At this point, Rollins is in a great spot on the roster, and his alliance with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed only adds to the situation.

What’s your take Seth Rollins’ current push in WWE? Do you believe that he is the company’s top guy on the red brand? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

The men’s side will see Sami Zayn, Penta, Bron Breakker, and Dominik Mysterio compete in a fatal four-way match. Randy Orton, LA Knigh, Aleister Black, and Carmelo Hayes will compete in the other four-way match on the left-hand side of the bracket.

On the other side, we have Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Andrade, and Shinsuke Nakamura battling. Then we have Sheamus, Rusev, Bronson Reed and a mystery person.

John Cena Agrees to Face CM Punk But Only Under One Condition During 6/9 WWE RAW

John Cena Agrees to Face CM Punk But Only Under One Condition During 6/9 WWE RAW

WWE RAW’s June 9, 2025 episode went down at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. During the opening segment, John Cena had an old foe step up to him.

R-Truth made his big return at Money in the Bank. He attacked John Cena, because he has no love for his childhood hero anymore. This week on RAW, they continued that angle.

John Cena kicked off WWE RAW this week in Phoenix. Although he did so as Undisputed WWE Champion, he was still in a very bad mood. He opened up his promo by saying that fans proved to him at Money in the Bank that “the truth is a lie.” Cena pointed out how Ron Killings made a career trying to mimic him. He also chastised fans for their “we want Truth” chants, calling them “keyboard warriors” and saying they have no real power to change anything.

Cena said that R-Truth is a gimmick that fans won’t care about in a year. He also said that Truth will never use him to fuel one of his “garbage pity parties” again. Cena pointed out that the only has 19 dates left on his schedule for his retirement run as well, as they are halfway done. He also begged fans to use their voice to send him someone who is competition, not the “freaking class clown” like R-Truth. That is when CM Punk came out.

CM Punk said that he was prepared to have a conversation with John Cena by using his fists. Then he said that Cena will hear out everything he has to say.

Punk said that he’s not there to defend TKO or the billionaires. He was out to be the Voice of the Voiceless once again. He then said that Cody Rhodes is the “best we got,” but Cena cheated to beat him. He then proclaimed that the fans are his boss before Cena held up his title and shook his head.

Then CM Punk said that it’s his job to give the people what they want. If they want the Truth, then they’ll get Ron Killings. Then Punk said it all starts by taking the title off Cena’s shoulder. He recalled how the two locked horns at Elimination Chamber, and how Cena apologized for winning that match using underhanded means.

Fans chanted, “You Sold Out” at John Cena after that. Then, Punk said that Cena will spend his time apologizing to fans for the man he’s become after he takes the title from him. Punk said that his lists of goals in WWE didn’t include winning the top title, because he’s afraid of the man he becomes when he holds that gold. Now, he has realized he must become a monster to stop the monster that Cena has become. That is when Punk said he’ll leave it up to Cena to decide when he loses that title.

CM Punk wanted the match against John Cena tonight. Then Cena said that he’s down for it, but it will go down at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 28. Then they were interrupted by Seth Rollins, as he simply held up his Money in the Bank briefcase to remind them that anything could change with a cash-in.

CM Punk’s most recent match took place on June 2, 2025, in a Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat bout for WWE, where El Grande Americano defeated both AJ Styles and CM Punk. Although Punk didn’t win that match, it was okay, because he took a few weeks off.

R-Truth’s WWE departure was legit. His contract expired, and then they brought him back thanks to fan reactions. WWE talent were also kept in the dark about this. We will keep a very close eye on R-Truth from this point on, especially if John Cena is involved. At this point, it seems that Ron Killings is on his way to the top of the WWE roster, but CM Punk is calling his shot at getting one more match against the 17-time champion.

What’s your take on R-Truth’s big WWE return and how WWE followed up on it? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Triple H Gives Interesting Response To Question About R-Truth’s WWE Return

Triple H Gives Interesting Response To Question About R-Truth's WWE Return

Triple H didn’t give a straight answer about R-Truth’s shocking WWE return at Money in the Bank—but his reaction said more than enough.

During the post-show press conference, The Game was asked about the overwhelming fan response that led to Truth’s reemergence—now appearing under his real name, Ron Killings. When a reporter asked how much fan demand influenced WWE’s decision, Triple H fired back with a quick and cool response: “I love the question. Are you enjoying the show? It’s all part of the show, man.”

No confirmation. No denial. Just that trademark smirk and a reminder that WWE knows exactly what it’s doing. R-Truth’s return caught everyone off guard when he speared John Cena during the main event tag match, setting up Cody Rhodes to score the pinfall. Fans had been chanting “We Want Truth” for over a week across every WWE show and even TNA’s Against All Odds. This wasn’t a storyline return planned for months—it was fan-fueled.

While WWE has yet to issue an official statement, PWInsider previously reported that “R-Truth is officially back with WWE and will be using the name Ron Killings, at least for now.” He was even reportedly in talks for indie bookings just days before the return, making this comeback even more surreal.

R-Truth’s WWE contract really did expire, and for a short time, he was off the roster. But now, he’s back in the mix—and it looks like WWE was paying attention.

Triple H may not be ready to say much, but the message was loud and clear: the fans wanted Truth, and WWE gave them exactly that.

R-Truth Returns To Attack John Cena During WWE Money in the Bank 2025

R-Truth Returns To Attack John Cena During WWE Money in the Bank 2025

R-Truth is officially back—and he didn’t just return, he stole the damn show.

During the main event of WWE’s 2025 Money in the Bank premium live event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, Truth made a surprise appearance that nobody saw coming—except maybe the fans who wouldn’t stop chanting his name all week.

As Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso battled John Cena and Logan Paul in the closing moments of the tag team main event, Cena grabbed the World Heavyweight Championship and cracked Rhodes across the head. But before he could capitalize, a masked man stormed the ring and delivered a thunderous spear to Cena. The arena erupted when the mystery man pulled off his mask to reveal it was R-Truth.

No music. No warning. Just a straight-up moment of chaos that blew the roof off the Intuit Dome. WWE commentary was stunned. The crowd lost it. Cody hit a Crossroads immediately after, pinning Cena for the win—but the real story was R-Truth. After being absent from WWE programming and at the center of massive online fan support this past week, his silent return said more than any promo could.

The “We Want Truth” chants have been echoing across WWE shows for days, even bleeding into rival promotions like TNA. But this was WWE’s moment to respond—and they did it in style. Truth didn’t just make a cameo—he changed the outcome of the main event.

The WWE Universe finally got what they’ve been demanding—and now the question is what comes next for the man who just shook the system with a single spear.

Seth Rollins Wins 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Match

Seth Rollins Wins 2025 Men's Money in the Bank Match

WWE brought the 2025 Money in the Bank premium live event to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The sold-out venue was packed for many matches on the card, including the Money in the Bank ladder match.

The 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match included Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, Andrade, and El Grande Americano. Each competitor entered the match aiming to secure the briefcase and a future championship opportunity.

This match was second to last of the night, and it came after Becky Lynch won the Women’s IC Title. Fans were more than ready to watch history unfold in front of them, as six Superstars made their way to the ring.

During the match, Wade Barrett argued that Chad Gable and El Grande Americano are different people, because they have different nipple sizes. Barrett also said that people aren’t buying Penta masks, although Penta was majorly over with this crowd.

They got two ladders set up at one point and all six men were up. They all battled each other as Americano and Andrade took bumps off their ladders. Then Rollins nailed Penta with a Pedigree before squaring off with Solo Sikoa. Fans chanted “OTC” as the two threw fists in the middle of the ring. They also chanted “CM Punk.”

Seth Rollins set up a medium-sized ladder in the middle of the ring. Then El Grande Americano climbed up to get an ankle lock on Rollins as Andrade climbed up over Seth. Penta climbed up after Andrade before Andrade hit a sunsetflip bomb on Americano before Penta sent Rollins through a propped up ladder on the other buckle with a suplex.

Later on, they created a platform with a ladder and Penta nailed a Mexican destroyer on the ladder with Andrade taking the bump. Then Solo took Penta out, and mocked him before LA Knight took him down and made a bridge with a ladder between the ring and the barricade right in front of Green Shirt Guy.

Penta nearly got to the briefcase, but Americano toko him down, and then he delivered a German Suplex to everyone in the match. Americano also somehow sustained a pretty nice cut on his back that kept bleeding. He set up a ladder in the corner and then he got the Fireball ladder. He took everyone out with the ladder and then he started to climb. Suddenly, Penta started climbing up as well and they fought on top. Penta knocked Americano down, but then Seth Rollins climbed up to stop him. Americano put a steel plate in his mask as Penta and Rollins fought on top of the ladder. Rollins fell off the ladder as Penta tried to climb up as Americano used all the laddders to make his way up and he took out Penta with a headbutt.

Suddenly, LA Knight climbed up and German suplexed Americano off the top of the ladder. Seth Rollins started to climb after that and Andrade climbed into the ring. Eventually, Andrade and Rollins fuoght on the Fireball ladder, and then Penta climbed up. Then Andrade and Penta fought on top of the ladder, Penta fell and Solo climbed up. Andrade started handing from the briefcase as another ladder was brought into play. It was chaos as Penta climbed up again to fight off his competitors.

Then Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed came out. Breakker broke Gable in half with a spear. Then they destroyed LA Knight and Andrade. The two tossed the Fireball ladder to the side as Paul Heyman laughed his head off at ringside. Then Jacob Fatu came out with JC Mateo as Solo Sikoa’s backup. After the two interfering teams battled, JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu laid waste to Breakker and Reed.

Then Jacob Fatu helped Solo Sikoa set up the ladder as he guarded him. Suddenly, Jacob grabbed Solo’s foot to stop him. Fatu then yelled, “I HATE YOU!” before taking him out that included a moonsault to lay out the man he used to love. Then Fatu nailed a move through the ladder bridge at ringside.

Seth Rollins grabbed the Fireball ladder after that, and he started to climb. Suddenly, LA Knight jumped in the ring to take him down. Knight started to climb fast, but Rollins pulled him down and slammed his head against the ladder before hitting a Stomp. Then Rollins climbed up the Fireball ladder once again to win the match. Now Rollins is Mr. Money in the Bank for the second time in his career.

The Money in the Bank holder has a ton of responsibility, and a golden opportunity ahead of them. Only time will tell what happens in the future, but this was certainly a history-making evening for WWE.

Becky Lynch Cheats To Win Women’s Intercontinental Title At Money in the Bank 2025

Becky Lynch Cheats To Win Women's Intercontinental Title At Money in the Bank 2025

WWE presented the 2025 Money in the Bank premium live event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. There were a couple titles on the line, including the Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a hard-fought match.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch was a match with a lot of history behind it. Not only was it for the Women’s IC Championship, but the two Irish women have also battled a few times in the past.

This match went on third of the night, right after Dominik Mysterio retained the WWE IC Title in a match against Octagon Jr. Then it was time for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to take the spotlight.

Lyra walked into the match as the first-ever Women’s IC Champion, with six defenses under her belt. She hadn’t lost yet against Becky Lynch, so it was anyone’s guess how that would turn out. Alicia Taylor gave this match a big fight feel with her ring introductions, but she only got to Becky as The Man attacked Lyra mid-way through. Then they got to business.

This match was evenly matched, with a few near falls. Lyra had superplex which she followed up with a fisherman’s suplex for a two count. Fans chanted for both wrestlers as the match continued. Then they returned to the ring, where The Man reversed a move from Lyra off the top to nail a powerbomb.

Suddenly, Becky Lynch latched on an armbar. Lyra rolled her up to pin Lynch, breaking the hold. Then Lyra got on a stretching submission hold, but Lynch got out of it. Eventually, they ended up battling on the floor.

Fans chanted, “We Want Truth” as Becky and Lyra got to their feet. Eventually, the two fought on the top rope, and then Becky landed a top rope Manhandle Slam for a shocking near fall. They went outside, where Becky sent Lyra into the ring post before hitting a Manhandle Slam on the mat outside. Then Lyra returned fire with a Nightwing on the floor. They both nearly avoided a double count out before returning to the ring.

In the end, Becky Lynch was able to get a pin, but she grabbed the tights. She might have cheated, but The Man is the new IC Champion. After the match was over, Lyra lived up to her word and she raised Becky Lynch’s hand. Lyra also put the championship around Lynch’s waist before nailing her with a German suplex and a Nightwing before leaving.

We will keep a close eye on what WWE does with the Women’s IC Title from this point on. Obviously, Money in the Bank is not the end of this championship’s legacy.

What’s your take on how WWE has booked the Women’s IC Title so far? Do you think it received a proper spotlight at Money in the Bank? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Dominik Mysterio Retains WWE Intercontinental Title Against Octagon Jr at Money in the Bank

Dominik Mysterio Retains WWE Intercontinental Title Against Octagon Jr at Money in the Bank

WWE presented the 2025 Money in the Bank premium live event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The Intercontinental Championship was on the line, and it was quite a match.

The IC Title was up for grabs as Dirty Dominik Mysterio defended against Octagon Jr. This was an exciting match that really had fans going as Dom had a ton of heat on him as always.

Dominik Mysterio and Octagon Jr were not originally booked to battle at Money in the Bank. Then Dirty Dom confronted Octagon Jr at Worlds Collide earlier in the day, which set up this match after they brawled all around the ring.

This match went on second, right after the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match tore the house down. Liv Morgan also accompanied Dom to the ring with both of their titles in tow.

AAA stars like Vikingo, Konnan, and Mr. Iguana were at ringside watching on during this match. The two continued in the ring as fans chanted on. Octagon Jr was able to show off some of his expert offense, but Dirty Dom was able to stay in the match.

In the end, Dominik Mysterio was able to nail a frog splash. Then he got the three count to retain the WWE IC Title. After the match, Dominik and Liv Morgan celebrated in the ring, but Octagon Jr had a great showing on that big stage.

We will have to see how WWE carries on from here. The IC Title is certainly a prize that anyone would love to fight for. Only time will tell who steps up next.

What’s your take on WWE’s booking at Money in the Bank? Was this match a good late addition to the card? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Naomi Wins 2025 Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Match

Naomi Wins 2025 Women's WWE Money in the Bank Match

WWE presented the 2025 Money in the Bank premium live event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. In the end, the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match might have stolen the show.

The 2025 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match featured six competitors: Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Naomi, and Stephanie Vaquer. Each Superstar battled for a chance to claim the briefcase and secure a guaranteed championship opportunity.

This match kicked off the Money in the Bank premium live event. There was a lot going on during this match, and everyone had a chance to shine in the spotlight.

There were many tough spots and several ladders were brought into the mix. At one point, Roxanne Perez was able to send Rhea Ripley into a ladder which she followed up with a springboard moonsault. Then The Prodigy set up the ladder, but she was interrupted by Alexa Bliss.

Then Giulia and Roxanne Perez teamed up to sandwich Rhea Ripley in a ladder, and then they sent another ladder down onto her, smashing her over and over again. At one point, Naomi almost got to the briefcase, but Stephanie Vaquer stopped her. Vaquer also climbed up the ladder with Giulia on her back until the Beautiful Madness took her down.

They got two ladders set up, with Stephanie and Naomi on top, then Naomi was pulled down by Bliss as Giulia climbed up. Bliss nailed a powerbomb on Vaquer off the ladder as Roxanne and Giulia climbed. Then Bliss pushed all the ladders down. This match continued with one creative spot after another as everyone battled for the CashApp branded briefcase.

Eventually, Rhea Ripley crawled out from under the ladders at ringside, and she took Roxanne Perez out. Rhea then got in the ring and targeted Giulia, where she beat the newcomer down. Naomi got a boot from Rhea as Roxanne was picked up and thrown into The Glow as she got up. Then Rhea got a ladder out to wedge it in the corner. She picked Giulia up and heaved her into the ladder before looking up at the briefcase and getting the tallest ladder around.

Rhea climbed up, but Stephanie stopped her, only to take a punishing forearm to send her down. At that point, Rhea got another ladder and she created a platform between the ladder and the corner. She picked Vaquer up and they moved up to the platform, where Vaquer was able to nail the Devil’s Kiss on the ladder.

Vaquer climbed up and got her hands on the briefcase, but Roxanne Perez climbed up after her. Then Alexa Bliss started climbing on the other side. Perez and Bliss met at the top, with Naomi pulling Alexa down. They all battled for position, and then Bliss and Perez nailed dueling code reds on Naomi and Vaquer on the ladder platforms.

Giulia came in next to rearrange the furniture before she started her climb. Then Roxanne Perez started up on the other side. They started throwing punches before Bliss pulled Giulia down. Then Rhea Ripley grabbed Giulia to nail a Rip Tide as Bliss hit a Sister Abigail on Perez.

Bliss and Rhea started climbing, but then Naomi pushed them down and they smashed against the ladder in the corner. The Glow started climbing and then she grabbed the briefcase to become 2025 Miss Money in the Bank.

We will have to see what happens to this Money in the Bank holder. At this point, the Women’s MITB holder has a 100% cash-in rate, so only time will tell if history will repeat itself this year.

El Hijo del Vikingo Retains Mega Championship In Wild Match At WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

El Hijo del Vikingo Retains Mega Championship In Wild Match At WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

WWE brought another groundbreaking event with Worlds Collide. The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, was full of fans who wanted to see this fresh combination of lucha libre and WWE Superstars.

During WWE Worlds Collide, El Hijo del Vikingo defended the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable. This match had fans going from start to finish, as Gable competed as himself and not the El Grande Americano character, who is in the Money in the Bank ladder match tonight.

This match went down as the main event of the show during this historic event. The contest also received a really big match feel thanks to Lilian Garcia’s expert Spanish ring announcing skills.

Gable and Vikingo worked seamlessly together, with each of them having an immediate answer to the other’s offense. Fans also blasted them with chants, mostly in support of Vikingo. The two locked up for a test of strength, and Vikingo was able to push Gable down, but the American bridged his way out of it. That led into a body scissors, which transitioned into another flawless move to complete another sequence of chain wrestling.

Eventually, a table was set up and the two fought outside the ring. The two returned to the squared circle, where the match continued. Gable took control for a while, leaving Vikingo to sell the attack in the ring. This slowed the match down a bit to Gable’s pace.

Gable kept control of the match, and he missed a moonsault to land on his feet. Then he caught Vikingo on the top rope and climbed up for a top rope sit-down powerbomb and a near fall. Eventually, Vikingo got back up and hit a Mexican destroyer on Gable on the apron.

The match carried on and Gable placed Vikingo on the table to nail a moonsault off the top rope. The table broke and fans were stunned by what they both brought to the table as the referee counted, but both competitors got back in before he could count to 10.

In the end, Vikingo rallied and hit a string of fast moves. Then he hit a 630 off the top rope to secure the win and retain the AAA Mega Championship.

Vikingo making his way to WWE was an especially hard blow to AEW. The company had been using him, and Tony Khan was booking him on television. Now WWE has access to the lucha star, and they are taking full advantage of that. Vikingo was also featured sitting in the crowd at ringside during recent WWE events, so he’s getting a focus.

Trick Williams shocked the pro wrestling world when he won the TNA Wrestling World Title at WWE Battleground. At Against All Odds 2025, he put his title on the line against Elijah.

The former Elias made it clear that he was in line to take on Trick Williams for his title. He was also on NXT this week to see Williams successfully defend that championship against Mike Santana.

This match went down as the main event at Against All Odds 2025. The contest went on late into the night, with it kicking off after 12:30 AM EST. That being said, fans in Arizona were more than ready for it and there was no shortage of energy.

Fans chanted, “What’s Up” during the main event, which was another R-Truth chant from the fans. “We Want Truth” chants were also heard in very loud fashion. The two competitors continued in the ring as Trick Williams gained the advantage. He beat Elijah around the ring as fans started chants for “Let’s Go Cena/ Cena Sucks.” Then loud “TNA” chants broke out.

He caught Williams with a Drift Away, but he kicked out at two. Fans chanted “RKO” and “ECW” as Trick nailed a Book End for a near fall. Then fans chanted “Whoop That Trick” and “Trick N A” at them.

This match went back-and-forth for a bit, but then Trick Williams was able to nail a punch as Elijah went out of the ring. They returned to the ring where Elijah nailed a top rope elbow drop for a two count. AJ Francis came out to get some serious boos. He told Trick that he had his back, and then Francis tripped Elijah, so Trick could get the upperhand.

Santino Marella Keeps Director of Authority Job After TNA Against All Odds 2025 Win

TNA Wrestling presented their Against All Odds 2025 event on June 6, and it was quite a show. The Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona was packed, and tickets sold very well. One match in particular would go on to shape the future of the company.

Santino Marella was appointed the Director of Authority in TNA Wrestling. That was quite a position for the former WWE Superstar to receive. At Against All Odds, he put that role on the line.

This match went on second to last of the night at Against All Odds. Matt Cardona was on hand as the match’s special guest referee as well. Victoria Crawford and Tessa Blanchard stood in Robert Stone’s corner, while Santino’s daughter, Ariana Grace, stood in his.

This match got started after Matt Cardona checked competitors for weapons, and that included having some words with Stone, because he found some brass knuckles on the heel. As soon as the bell rang, Stone powdered out of the ring to prolong his first match in TNA in eight years.

When the match finally got started, Santino Marella used his wrestling skills to bring Robert Stone to the mat. Stone was able to mount some offense, but Santino had a ton of momentum with the fans behind him. This match ended up on the floor as the two fought through the packed building.

Once the match got back into the ring, Matt Cardona received some hateful chants as the contest continued. Santino pulled out the Cobra, but Tessa Blanchard stole it. Stone made the cover, and he had his feet on the ropes, but Cardona didn’t make the count, despite being paid by Robert Stone to throw the match for him.

While Stone had Cardona preoccupied, Victoria Crawford ran in and nailed Santino with an axe kick. Then Stone pinned Cardona for a two count. Victoria tripped up Santino, and Stone nailed a low blow for another near fall. Ariana Grace had a backup cobra, and she gave it to her father before he nailed Robert Stone with it for the win.

We will have to see how this shapes the future of TNA Wrestling. After all, the Director of Authority is a very prominent position for the company’s television product.
