Kevin Owens & Randy Orton Get Physical In Chaotic Segment During 10/11 WWE SmackDown

WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 event in Atlanta ended in an unexpected way for Cody Rhodes. Outside his tour bus, Kevin Owens confronted Rhodes, leading to a brawl that only stopped when others intervened. This week on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes tried to address the incident, and Randy Orton was there to help out. Sadly, things didn’t turn out so well.

During the October 11 SmackDown, things escalated quickly in this situation. Owens’ actions seemed to be the result of weeks of building frustration, which had become evident in recent storylines.

Just as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match was about to start, Kevin Owens rushed into the ring with a microphone. He revealed that he had been fined and suspended for his attack on Rhodes and was told to stay away from the event in Greenville, South Carolina.

Cody Rhodes suddenly ran toward the ring, but WWE officials quickly moved to stop him. Randy Orton then appeared, urging Cody to calm down, before entering the ring himself to try and restrain Owens.

In a sudden turn, Owens struck Orton with a back elbow, prompting Orton to retaliate with a punch. Owens hit the mat, stunned and furious, as the segment ended with chaos still unfolding. The situation remains unresolved, and it’s clear that this story is far from over.

LA Knight Retains US Title Against Carmelo Hayes During 10/11 WWE SmackDown

LA Knight Retains US Title Against Carmelo Hayes During 10/11 WWE SmackDown

A lot of WWE Superstars are trying hard to garner attention however they can. The October 11 episode of WWE SmackDown in Greenville, South Carolina, featured an intense WWE United States Championship match between “The Mega Star” LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes.

LA Knight, known for his electrifying charisma, put his United States Championship on the line against the rising star Carmelo Hayes, whose drive for championship glory has been turning heads. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena was buzzing with excitement as fans packed the venue, eager to see the clash between the two.

This showdown only came about after AJ Styles suffered an injury last week on SmackDown, leaving an opening for Hayes. Before the match, Hayes even teased fans, promising to bring back John Cena’s iconic spinner U.S. Title Belt if he secured the victory.

Andrade made a surprise appearance at ringside, quietly observing the match but creating an early distraction for Carmelo Hayes. This allowed LA Knight to gain the upper hand outside the ring before the action paused for a commercial break.

Coming back from the break, Hayes found his rhythm, hitting a series of impressive moves, including a scissor kick to counter Knight’s BFT attempt. Despite his momentum, Hayes couldn’t get the three-count and missed his signature Nothing But Net from the top rope. After a blocked cutter from Hayes, Knight capitalized, landing the BFT and winning the match cleanly.

Throughout the match, Andrade remained at ringside with a knowing smile. Commentary made sure to note that while Andrade never physically interfered, his presence seemed to throw off Hayes, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the bout’s outcome.

Roman Reigns Refuses to Ask for Jey Uso’s Help During 10/11 WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns Refuses to Ask for Jey Uso's Help During 10/11 WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns wrestled his first match back during Bad Blood 2024, and that was a long time coming for the Original Tribal Chief. The event also saw Jimmy Uso return, and then The Rock did the same. Fans in Greenville, South Carolina couldn’t wait to see what was next as they attended the blue brand’s show.

Tensions between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are heating up, especially after Reigns, now the new “Tribal Chief,” disbanded the original Bloodline, cutting ties with Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. This week’s SmackDown continued that unfolding drama with Roman Reigns making his presence felt in Greenville.

Jimmy Uso opened the show to strong cheers from the crowd, gearing up for a showdown against Solo Sikoa in a classic big brother vs. little brother match. Roman Reigns soon made his entrance as the Original Tribal Chief, joining the fray and taking control of the moment.

With chants of “OTC” filling the arena, Jimmy handed Reigns the microphone. Roman told the crowd he planned to “join him to acknowledge Big Jim,” which only fueled the crowd’s excitement, leading to loud “Uso” chants.

Reigns made it clear that while he doesn’t understand the brother vs. brother rivalry, and he’s no wise man, he is the Tribal Chief—and that means taking what belongs to him. He then reflected on the success they had with The Bloodline, but admitted his dissatisfaction with his current position, emphasizing that when they’re in the ring, “the GOATS are here.”

Jimmy didn’t hold back, calling Reigns a “chief without a tribe” and reminding him that he returned at Bad Blood because Roman needed him. He hinted that they might need help to take down Solo Sikoa and suggested he had someone in mind. The crowd erupted with “Yeet” chants, but Roman dismissed it with a firm, “no Yeet.”

Jimmy ended by declaring himself the last family member who still acknowledges Roman Reigns, leaving the ring without further words from the Tribal Chief. The saga between these former allies is far from over, and it remains to be seen what twists await in this intense family feud.

Baron Corbin Braves Hurricane Weather In His Hummer

As Hurricane Milton barrels over Florida, many people have prepared for the worst. Baron Corbin doesn’t seem to be afraid of the storm, because he’s out in the bad weather. Thankfully, he has a good ride to get him there.

Baron Corbin is known for flexing how he spends his money. Although many fans know him for his videos where he features watches and cooking meat on his grill, he had a different video to show off on Wednesday night.

Hurricane Milton was downgraded to a Category 4 storm early Tuesday, but still poses a significant threat to Florida, with a dangerous storm surge expected. WWE Superstar Baron Corbin was not staying in, as he uploaded a video of himself in the hurricane with a tree down, but his hummer wasn’t phased.

“Had to drive to the in-laws. It’s getting wild but the hummer gives zero F’s”

NXT has also been affected by the situation with Hurricane Milton. The company had to postpone shows, as the hurricane complicated travel arrangements. Many NXT Superstars found themselves stranded in Saint Louis following the October 8 episode at The Factory.

AEW is also working hard to make things work with their schedule and the hurricane situation. This is a scary situation for a lot of people, and we’re wishing everyone the best that is stuck in the bad weather.
