WWE Raw on Netflix delivered plenty of big moments on January 27, but one of the biggest came when Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman were revealed as the cover Superstars for WWE 2K25. The announcement sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe, further cementing Reigns’ legacy as “The Original Tribal Chief.”

Shortly after the reveal, Triple H took to social media to drop the first official trailer for the game, praising Reigns and Heyman’s impact on the industry.

“A generational legacy that’s transcended our business… and must be acknowledged. Introducing your #WWE2K25 cover Superstar, The Original Tribal Chief @WWERomanReigns. @HeymanHustle”

Fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the game, as WWE 2K25 is officially set for release on March 14.

The trailer featured an impressive lineup of playable Superstars, including Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker, CM Punk, and more. It was also confirmed that The Wyatt Sicks will be pre-order bonus characters, giving players an early opportunity to control one of WWE’s most mysterious new factions.

WWE rolled into Atlanta’s State Farm Arena this week for their January 27 episode of RAW. The night told a lot of stories as the Royal Rumble go-home episode, and Roman Reigns received a big focus.

Roman Reigns was not on hand for RAW this week, but his Wise Man was. Reigns has already promised to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match, and he put the finishing touches on that story. Paul Heyman came out at the end of the show’s second hour, and he received a rousing ovation from the Atlanta crowd.

Paul Heyman didn’t waste any time in revealing that Roman Reigns will be on the cover of WWE 2K25. At that time, the giant cover unfurled from the rafters, and fans chanted for the OTC. Heyman’s face was also seen on the cover as he stood at ringside in the shot. WWE 2K25 is on the way, and now we have a cover.

We will have to see what happens next, but Roman Reigns certainly had a huge past few years. Now, he is being celebrated on the cover of WWE’s yearly video game.

The Tribal Chief beat Solo Sikoa during the January 6 WWE RAW debut on Netflix. The Rock then came out to crown Reigns as the OTC with the Ula Falla. We will have to see what’s next in that storyline, but it will all probably lead to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

Xavier Woods didn’t have the best time on WWE RAW this week. Although he was in his home city against Rey Mysterio, his own family turned on him as they rocked New Day Sucks t-shirts.

After Quavo came out with Jey Uso to YEET away in Atlanta, Pat McAfee had a chance to give Xavier Woods’ family some love on television during their commercial break segment on Netflix.

Lil Yachty was sitting with Xavier Woods’ family, and Pat McAfee had to give the famous rapper some love. After declaring “Holy Sh*t!” over the fact that Yachty was in the building at all, McAfee asked him if he would get his grill and 1 million dollars worth of jewelry into a WWE ring.

Lil Yachty didn’t say no to the idea. He said that anything is possible. Then he said it’s a definite if Rhea Ripley is part of the picture. He then gave Mami some love as the fans popped for him. Obviously, Ripley has a fan in Lil Yachty.

WWE certainly brought a lot of eyes to them on Netflix this week. Only time will tell how well a mixed tag team match with Lil Yachty and Rhea Ripley may do, but Triple H could have that match on the table now.

The January 27 episode of WWE RAW took place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. A lot of Superstars are from the city, but Xavier Woods had quite a home city segment.

Xavier Woods made a point during a backstage interview that he is Atlanta’s greatest son. He also said that his father, mother, and sister will be at the show tonight in the front row.

Woods was set to take on Rey Mysterio. This match was special, not only because it would be Zelina Vega’s final appearance as part of the LWO, but Woods wanted to deliver for his home city fans.

The front row had a few seats that had “reserved” papers on them, but they were empty. It was said that Woods’ family didn’t show up in time for the match.

Then, Xavier Woods’ family showed up during his match. He walked up to them and asked them why they were late. He wasn’t happy at all. Then they had a surprise for him.

Xavier Woods’ mother, father, and sister all revealed “New Day Sucks” t-shirts. This took Xavier off guard, and Kofi Kingston wasn’t happy about it, either.

Eventually, Rey Mysterio beat Xavier Woods in the middle of the ring in Atlanta. This was certainly not the homecoming that Xavier Woods wanted at all.

The January 27 episode of WWE RAW took place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Logan Paul was ready to show fans on Netflix what he had to offer the red brand, and The Maverick didn’t miss the show.

Logan Paul made his WWE RAW on Netflix debut this week during the first segment of the show. At the time, Seth Rollins and GUNTHER were having a back-and-forth about who is most dominate. Then The Maverick’s music interrupted them.

The YouTuber turned boxer turned Prime mogul turned WWE Superstar was booed out of the building from the jump when he got on the microphone. He had tremendous heat from the Atlanta fans, and as he declared that he is great at everything, they just booed him even more.

Logan Paul declared that WWE needs a new face, since this is the Netflix Era. He believes that his face “oozing with charisma” is what WWE needs. Fans chanted “you suck” at the top of their lungs as Logan Paul screamed his promo at GUNTHER and Seth Rollins. Then LP told Atlanta that he couldn’t hear them, just to rub things in.

The former United States Champion then said that GUNTHER and Seth Rollins need to worry about him, because of how fast he mounted a WWE career. He will be in the 2025 Royal Rumble. He also doesn’t have to worry about throwing out 29 other Superstars, because all he has to do is “work smarter, not harder.”

Fans hated Logan Paul in a huge way as he continued his promo. They didn’t want to hear him, or entertain the through that he will win the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. We will have to see what happens next, but Logan Paul is back on WWE television, and he is still a mega heel.

Logan Paul did not miss WWE’s big Netflix premiere. After all, his name has been attached to huge WWE events, and he hasn’t been seen since SummerSlam 2024 when LA Knight beat him for the US Title. However, he was simply a waving face in the crowd.

Paul tried to get a two-year break from WWE as paternity leave. Obviously, that didn’t happen, because the Maverick is already back in the fold.
